Had the whole wing meal with mac & cheese and collard greens. Chicken is good mac & cheese is good. The problem is sugar and the colored greens and they are canned greens and not fresh.
Fried chicken is hands down, best I ever had. I ordered the dark, but wish I added a breast as well when I saw one on someone else's plate. I normally don't like collard greens, but my wife always orders them when she sees them on a menu. I always reach in for a little taste and usually quiver a little bit, but I did not when I tried them at Gus's. I think I would actually order them when we go back. This was my 1st time visiting this establishment. The management and staff are very personable and friendly. The manager, Kyle, came over and introduced himself. We went on a Tuesday, and they had a special. Two pieces of chicken with 2 sides and a drink. I spent about 13.00. I will return!!!
