The food was good especially the pulled pork and the brisket. I liked the sauce offerings. I enjoyed the sides as they were different from the sweet ones normally served with BBQ in this area. I really appreciated the passion of the pitmaster, he was so into the Que it made the meal for me. It is a small venue, and the menu interesting. This is Texas style BBQ.
Very nice little place, walked right in, excellent service, and the brisket sandwich was amazing. Brisket was very flavorful, smokey, sweet, not dry, not greasy and a great departure from most Alabama BBQ. Loved it. Hope to visit again soon.
I had my first meal here today and I must say these guys understand TX BBQ. Being from TX I have eaten all the good BBQ restaurants in my home state. These guys clearly did their homework. I will have to admit I was a bit skeptical at first but that skepticism was quelled when I smelled that familiar smell of post oak and saw that beautiful smoke ring.
