For the most part the food was very good, but not worth the price considering the poor service. Three entrees ordered, two had mistakes. Asked for salads first, salads came last. Forget to heat up the pie for dessert before serving. Didn't even offer bread. Laughed when the waiter asked how everything was and all we had in front of us was three glasses of water. Based on previous reviews clearly they don't take the hint that improving the service might be a valuable idea.

Beautiful ambience, excellent staff. The goodness tasteful and so was the menu selections. But everything was cold. The food we received (3 guests) was not warn. Some vegetable items were undercooked. The other good presentations were great. Often there were items excluded, omitted, or forgotten. For the price point, the experience was under par.

We unexpectedly ended up being in town with no plans so we made a reservation. The food was ok but probably could have gotten the same thing at cracker barrel for a third of the price. The waitress was very pleasant and there are things that happened that were out of her control like being charged too much for our plates. All in all it wasn't bad but it wasn't good either.

We had an amazing Thanksgiving brunch at Ironwood. We asked for a booth upon arrival and they were very quick to accommodate. Rosie was our server and she was the absolute sweetest. She embodied the reason for the season! We will be back for brunch and to see Rosie!!

what a great night out. the food was amazing and our server Vanessa knew the menu and made great recommendations. The drinks were spot on and the the apps, the main and the dessert almost made me want to lick the plate. The espresso ice cream was some of the best i've ever had!

Really enjoyed the food. Friendly staff and a quiet date night. Lots of football on so quieter atmosphere than what I would have thought

We had EXCELLENT service! However, there were less than five other tables and the food took way too long!

Server was nice, however service was terrible. It took her forever to take our order, we never got refills and she kept coming back with excuses for the poor service. Several things they were out of and couldn't make that were on their menu. Server offered a birthday treat to my mom and then charged us for it.
Food was cook poorly for our party and essentials like syrup and seasoning were never brought. I ordered the shrimp and grits, which despite being covered in a creole sauce were bland, the crowaffle was burnt, eggs which were supposed to be cooked the same were somehow overdone and underdone.
We also ordered the Cahaba Lily cocktail which tasted great but smelled like dog water which ruined the experience. In all it was a terrible experience, especially considering it was a special occasion.

We went for a family birthday brunch. The service was stretched pretty thin it seemed, she had trouble keeping up with her tables, running food, and maintaining drink (our table ly got water 1 time in the almost two hours we were there).

The food was horrible. Poached eggs were undercooked, eggs Benedict were over cooked, no syrup for waffles, no salt or pepper at the table. I was offered a mini jar of jam that was previously opened and scooped out of from a previous customer.

This could be a really great breakfast place. But it was actually very disappointing.

Our reservation was for 4 @ 6. Half the party arrived 15 minutes and were seated at a 2 person table; having to remind the hostess our reservation was for 4. Other guests arrived before 6. Due to the slow service we didn't get out until after 815. Not sure if it was the kitchen or the server. Food was mediocre. It will be a very long time before we go back, if we ever go back.

I really wanted to love this place given how much praise I had heard for it, but aside from being realitively easily accessible with parking and being easy to find, my experience was incredibly lackluster. Let's break it down.

The service: Our service was slow between courses and they were not that busy. We waited nearly 25 minutes for our entree and once dessert orders were taken, nearly 20 minutes for those. The server was also not incredibly attentive. My partner has some food come out cold and my food was cooked beyond the requested temperature (usually due to it sitting waiting to be plated or served). The drinks came quick, though.

The food: I had the steak frites with fries and the cast iron cherry cobbler. The steak was cooked to well when I requested medium and the meat quality was chewy and gristly. The steak sauce that was their signature sauce or something similar was ok, but it was basically just A1. The fries were cold. The saving grace was the cast iron cherry cobbler - that was very good. The portions also don't even remotely match the price. I am ok with smaller portions but they also weren't filling.

The drinks: I had some sort of Southern Maitai and it was good. Not something I'd likely get a second.

Overall, we were with a group for a birthday event and this was my first visit. I would like to try again and some of these issues could have been just due to a bad night or bad staff, and maybe I will. But overall it just wasn't a good experience and I left disappointed and dissatisfied.

Matt the server was an excellent host and was greatly appreciated by the party for checking in frequently and suggesting drinks or other things when questions were asked.

I have a monthly breakfast meeting here and over the past two months the menu and service has improved significantly. Breakfast was amazing, the vibe was perfect, and everything came out just right.

Huge shout-out to Rosie—she was awesome! Super friendly, appropriately attentive, and just made the whole experience better. You can tell she genuinely cares about making sure guests have a good time.

If you haven’t been yet, definitely go—and hope you get Rosie as your server!

My wife and I had a very good experience. The food was great. Nice atmosphere, and was very quiet. I would certainly recommend and visit again. PS the brussels sprouts were great!
