My wife, son and I arrived just before 6PM on 1/31/24. We were seated immediately by Mary our server, but we waited at least 15 minutes for her to return to take our drink and food orders. We waited 10 more minutes for our drinks, and another 10 minutes for our food. All the food was cold, my wife's chicken was dry and a skin had developed on the alfredo sauce. The food obviously sat before it was served to us. While we were eating, Mary returned once to check on us and refilled my son's drink. It was 7 o’clock before she returned to ask if we wanted any boxes. My wife ordered a dessert which came out without much delay. My wife asked for our bill when the dessert arrived, but it took another 15 minutes for us to touchpad to pay – at 7:30 PM. The two other tables had a similar experience. The man next to us sat for 20 minutes tapping his credit card on the table before Mary noticed him. The couple at the booth behind ours commented on how bad the service was when they left. During our meal, I noticed that the bartender had time to chat leisurely with the customers at the bar. I thought she looked like our server, but I couldn’t connect her with our server since we were being ignored while she was chatting away with the people at the bar.
My daughter was a bartender at Red Lobster for 7 years. I’ve seen her handle the bar, the drinks for the restaurant and 4 tables during dinner shifts – there were 2 bartenders for peak weekend shifts. She had to keep moving to get it all done. I know that there was no excuse for the service we received last night on a slow Wednesday evening.

I’m just gone tell it like it is, never in my entire life have I experienced anything like this. My Grandma said it’ll be days like this. I love all people no matter what’s on the outside. I guess our skin wasn’t quite right🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️. For this lady to not even acknowledge us. We stood at the door a whole 10mins before one host/waitress even said it’ll be a minute to be seated. The whole time the bartender/ waitress is behind the bar and you can clearly see guest coming in the door. We stood there so long I even notice she brought her daughter to work she was maybe about 5 or 6. She kept telling the little girl to go sit down and stay away from the bar. That tell you we stood there for a minute if I notice all that so it’s no way that she miss us. Soon as another party walk up she ( Ms. Brennan a.k.a Karen daughter) walk up to another party with the same amount of people and sat them just like that. ( I mean they had no line no waiting or nothing, went straight to a table.) Her excuse was she didn’t see us, and she can’t sit a big party. Well child how could you miss us. It’s a party of 8 bl👊🏾👊🏾ack people here. You never even came and said welcome to Chilli’s, did someone help you already or how many need to be seated? We already stood there a whole 15 or 20 min. The other party even ask were we waiting, when they came in the door and saw us standing there. They didn’t even have the common courtesy to say, “Well I think they’ve been waiting awhile let them go ahead……. No they took they happy go lucky tails and sat right down like the privilege people they think they are. I will never in life patronize Chilli’s again in Trussville.

Ordered off DoorDash and didn’t get fries. After looking at other reviews, this seems like a common problem. No one answered the phone when we called. Pretty sure this is one of those door dash ghost restaurants…

Took an hour to get entrees- side salad had such huge chunks of hard lettuce pieces it was inedible- food was ok but service was horrible

EXTREMELY SLOW. I’ve given this place multiple chances and my order is never right. Don’t even bother.
I'm not one to complain during this short staffed trying times but I waited in the specified parking space for 45 mins b4 anyone recognized I was sitting there. Once I got my food it was cold and poorly made. It was supposed to come with curly fries but it did not. The wings were mostly dry of any sauce, or ALITTLE bit of sauce was drizzled on the wing, normally that'd be OK, but the fact that it was so cold like it was in a fridge was unacceptable. Will not be reordering EVER again. If I could give negative stars I would. I tried to call the store bit Noone answered, and I called multiple times...

With everything going on during the pandemic and people not showing up for work, I appreciate the service I received at the Chili’s in Trussville! The workers there are working hard and the food was hot and on point. I appreciate the manager Leslie visiting our table asking if we needed anything and even clearing the table. That is what mangers do! Help your workers in their time of need especially when they short staffed! Keep up the good Job Leslie and staff @ Trussville Chili’s ! ???
