Looks great, beautiful fountain in entrance, nicr comfortable seating. Theres alot to choose from and although some of my favorites were missing, they had plenty of substitutes. The food was pretty good, the only gripe is the seafood especially shrimp was a little too chewy, but otherwise most things seemed perfectly cooked. The servers were super attentive which was nice, never had a glass half empty, it was pretty empty due to weather but still.

5 star food and service. One of the best Chinese buffet I've tried in Alabama for real. The 3.5 star review average through me off. I don't know how, even at 8 p.m. the food was fresh and hot and the service was like a regular restaurant. I highly recommend, truly 5 star Chinese buffet.

Man this one hurts!
Today my family and I came to at our favorite buffet near our town. My husband got his food and sat down to eat and in the fried rice he found a long white strand of hair. Keep in my our hair is black and he is bald, so it couldn’t have been ours lol. He reported it to one of the waiters and she had a concerned look on her face as she walked away with the my husband plate of food. The manager of the restaurant walked back to our table and trust me we didn’t not make a scene, again this our favorite spot to come eat but her excuse was this is not our hair! I get it they have black hair as well and states that it was from another customer but he didn’t just grab some from the top of the fried rice but got a scoop of it and started eating it and found it after he had eat a spoonful or two. She did not apologize for it and didn’t pull the rice from where the hair was. We had to ask if we would get a discount or at least his meal would be free as some other places do. She only gave us a 10% percent discount and laughed it off. Again we didn’t make a big deal out of it in the restaurant. We will not be coming back and good luck to them.

Restaurant was clean and welcoming. Previous reviewer said something about the front doors, we didn't have any issue with them. Food was fresh and flavorful. Staff was friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back.

We wanted to try the buffet out since it was new in the area. Morale of the story , I would not go back here and wouldn’t recommend anybody to eat here. Food was mediocre, nothing too exciting. Tasted bland in my opinion. To top it off what ended our experience from eating we saw a big ol roach crawling through the floor heading to us while we were eating !!!! Never again

Let me preface this with Chinese buffets are my area of expertise due to the way my body works. I have a condition where my body doesn’t produce its own Chinese buffets food so I have to frequent places very often in order to feel normal. This is my first time being here (Sat 5:30pm) with my family after my kid kept praising this place after a birthday visit with some friends. But the truth is I’m sorry I didn’t get here faster! The selection of sushi alone absolutely beats out other places that specialize in it!! The selection is outstanding with green mussels, clams, and frog legs, and crawfish, and a taro bun to just name a few. The standard plates are there but they have 5 rows of food with sushi and hibachi options with their own sections! This place is not only large but the cleanliness is on point. You would imagine with so many selections/options and people there, there would be spots or droppings or disgust but there wasn’t anything but a clean station! Truly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a buffet! I have never left a place more satisfied.

Joy East is going to be my new go-to Chinese buffet. Their food doesn’t taste like the usual buffet food that’s been sitting out all day, dried up and bland. Everything I tried had great flavor and our waitress made sure our drinks were always full and our used plates were cleared and she was so sweet and pleasant! I hope the quality stays this way because I will definitely be back. Thank you joy east!

We went to Joy East as a party of 18. They were very accommodating with our large group and very attentive. The food selection was plentiful and fresh, from sushi, hibachi, crab legs, crawfish, and the typical buffet food. We went during lunch on a Sunday so it was prime busy time but they had plenty of food on the hot bar. I highly recommend Joy East.

They had the biggest seafood selection I've ever seen on a buffet 😋 and the sushi was really good we didn't have room for the hibachi grill but I can't wait to try it next time and the crawfish was seasoned really good
