Service is usually good but this last time we went we never got a refill on our drinks. No one ever came back to our table after bringing our drinks. The food is not good at all. We gave it a try a few times and this last time we ended up feeling sick to our stomachs later on.

I know it’s a buffet so you don’t expect much but that’s why I had to make a review, it is that bad! I sat down with a total of 5 items on my plate, took a single bite of each item and EVERY single item was cold! I walk up to the front before even attempting to eat the whole plate and told the manager about my first few bites and pointed to my table to show I haven’t even eaten anything and I don’t want to keep eating if I know it’s all cold. Rather than apologize about it she responds with “you still pay” and ask me if I got a drink. INSANE - I gave her my money and told her I understand why the building is empty. This was my second time coming and I only came to give them another chance after the horrible first time as well which I kept to myself. GO TO KING BUFFET in Irondale, it is my go to and I never will betray them again.

I don't know why the rating isn't higher for here. Everything was great. The one complaint I have is how much oil is used in the food (which tastes phenomenal by the way). So I ate less than I would have liked to. Other than that 10/10 experience. Just be mindful if you're looking for something on the healthier side! I should have done the hibachi!

Joy Restaurant in Trussville is new, and the experience was pleasant. The environment was well lit and very clean. The food was okay overall, and the crawfish stood out—they were cleaned and seasoned well. This is a place I would visit again.

I thought the food was good overall I mean I think people are forgetting this is a buffet! Not a cook to order restaurant. The sushi was good not great but good and I loved the hibachi cook to order station that was by far my favorite thing here. So many choices here including an entire table with nothing but desserts. I recommend this place I mean it looks like red Robbin nothing you can do there and it was packed when we went but the food and service were both good and it was very inexpensive! Remember folks it’s a buffet! Not a sit down and cook it to order restaurant so it can’t be judged by those standards. Great variety, good food, and nice people I recommend.

Food: Very odd tastes on all things seafood and either over or under cooked food. Some of the meat is slimey. I wouldnt eat here again if it was free. Service: They stay on your drink refills. Atmosphere: Its the old Red Robin with a Chinese buffet.
