Had soft chicken tacos supreme delivered by GrubHub from the Mt. Laurel location. Order was 1 hr 15 min late so food was cold. Plenty of food to eat but had to reheat which made the flour tortillas tough and tiny squares of chicken were very tough. Lettuce, tomatoes, salsas (red and verde) and guacamole were fresh and tasty. Rice and beans were okay. Late arrival was not the restaurant’s fault but the chewy chicken was.

We’ve been coming to La Paz in Mount Laurel ever since it opened, and it’s become one of our go-to spots for both dining in and takeout. While the dining area is always welcoming, our favorite place to eat is definitely the bar area, and that’s largely because of the outstanding service from the bartender, Muffy.
Muffy is the kind of bartender who makes every visit better. She’s always friendly, upbeat, and incredibly helpful when it comes to choosing food or drinks. Whether you’re unsure about what to order or just looking for a great cocktail, she’s got you covered with spot-on suggestions and a genuine smile that brightens the entire space.
Whether you’re in the mood for a quick bite, a drink, or just some good conversation, La Paz is the place to be, and if you head to the bar, Muffy will make sure you feel right at home. Don’t miss the chance to experience her top-tier hospitality!

The skinny marg wasn’t made with fresh ingredients. The waiter couldn’t tell us if ANY of the margaritas were made with fresh lime etc. The salsa looked and tasted like it came from jar. The food was just ok and lacked flavor. The patio floor was dirty, as were the glass doors going into the restaurant.
Good Mexican. Good service and ambience. Have only dinner in once. Always get to-go. Family meals are good way to go.
Food was ok, service? It was 330pm on Sunday, few patrons, we asked to be seated on patio and the table just a bit wobbly, if you didn't touch it it was fine. Zero ambiance, felt like we were intruding, not just from one person, it was very unwelcome
Sadly, I came here with my family and out of town guests, service was terrible. Four servers working in our area, with only two tables. Any time we asked for anything, we had to wave down a server and got an attitude as though we interrupted their social media scrolling time. We engaged with 3 of the 4 servers and all three made us feel as though they were terribly annoyed we interrupted them.
I will never return and will inform everyone in my club over the hill of my recommendation.
I, in good faith, could never give La Paz a positive review or recommendation.
First time having La Paz from this location and it was AMAZING!!! 🤩 My entire to go order was correct, ready when I arrived at the time specified in the email, and the food was still piping hot when I got home! The queso put me into an elevated state of complete happiness. If I wasn’t completely full and suffering from a partial food coma, I would’ve gone back to individually thank each member of the kitchen staff for that heavenly meal. To say I was completely blown away with the service, food quality and taste would be a major understatement. I’m already trying to convince my husband to go back for lunch tomorrow. I would share pics but I totally licked the to go containers clean so there’s not a crumb left behind. 😭
I have given this La Paz several attempts and each time I am sadly disappointed. Terribly slow service and the food always takes forever. I went recently with group of girlfriends and it was a horrendous experience. Drinks took forever, food took forever, missed items, etc. The worst part of it all was that no one seemed to care when concerns were brought to their attention. This is such a wonderful location it’s so sad that the business isn’t run better. Will not be back.

Consistently a disaster. Terrible slow service, a total lack of management, and lackluster food that takes forever. I have no idea how this (usually empty) place continues to operate. Avoid at all costs.

I had an excellent dining experience at LaPaz recently. The service was outstanding, particularly our waitress, who went above and beyond to ensure our dietary needs were met. She confirmed that the chips are not gluten free, which was very important for us to know. Moreover, she double-checked with the kitchen and confirmed that the pork tamales and green sauce are completely gluten free and not cross-contaminated. This attention to detail and commitment to customer care made our meal not only delicious but also worry-free. Highly recommend LaPaz for anyone with dietary restrictions!
