We had dinner at this place! There were 3 us! The server just took us the food and he disappeared, he nerved checked on us not even once! Another server checked on us and I said that we were ready for the checks however since the server never checked on us, they just put the check all together and I was like: (all good, I’m just gonna pay it all together) I didn’t check the receipt so I decided to tip my server $30 ( even the service wasn’t good) and then I realized that the GRATUITY was added to the check! SO BE CAREFUL BECAUSE IS NOT COOL THAT THEY ARE TAKING ADVANTAGE FROM THE GOOD PEOPLE! And you can see some other reviews complaining about the same thing!

My husband and I own two very successful Mexican restaurants in south Alabama and we definitely know what great Mexican food is supposed to taste like. That being said this restaurant, La Perla, is ? hands down the best I’ve ever had!!! They definitely deserve a 10 star ⭐️ review if there was one! From the service, Texas Margarita, atmosphere and ALL the food we ordered they are awesome!! From one Mexican restaurant owner to another we wish you guys much success and many blessings!!!
