Super tasty homemade pasta. Got the tagliatelle bolognese and bean panzanella appetizer both amazing. Excited to try the dine in experience soon!

Amazing food!
I am visiting from Florida and this restaurant was recommended as having the best Italian food in town.
I can tell that this for sure is the best Italian food that I've had probably ever.
Amazing flavor with the pasta was cooked to perfection.
The appetizer was also amazing, one of the best mozzarella sticks I've had in a long time.
Parking seems like it could be an issue of there is a lot people though were able to find spot pretty quick
The only thing that unfortunately did not go with the good experience, was the service. Our server pretty came took the left us with a bottle of water and didn't come back until we were pretty much done with out food and were dry with no water left in the bottle.
Still the next time I am in town I'll make sure to visit for amazing Italian experience.

Our server was amazing! T was great.
The appetizer and dessert was phenomenal
But the entree was awful, Olive Garden is better.

Service was great, food tasted great but was just lukewarm, it is decently loud and hard to hear table conversations. I will definitely go back.

Thank you Chef Rita and Luca team for an incredible birthday celebration with our family of 12! Food, service & ambience on the patio was just outstanding! Sydney our server was INCREDIBLE & such a delight! We felt we escaped to Italy for a wonderful, relaxing family style dinner for the evening! ❤️

Food was good, not great. Service was lawful. Took our daughter to celebrate her birthday. It took 8-10 minutes before anyone acknowledged we were at our table. Server came to the table, introduced themself, poured water and it was another 5-6 minutes before they took our drink order
We ordered meatball appetizer and our meals then because we didn’t know how long it would be before we saw the server again. Appetizer came quickly, was dropped and server was gone again. Eventually had to go to the bar and get our next round of drinks.
We were there over an hour before our food came. We had taken a cake to have for our daughter’s birthday but ended up just asking them to bring it back instead of waiting longer.

Food was delicious. I had the rigatoni with no meat and the sauce was delicious. The gelato was also delicious - I tried the chocolate and salted caramel. There was a pizza and wine tasting when we arrived. I would suggest making a reservation if possible. Outdoor seating is available.

Mom and I recently enjoyed a wonderful lunch here, and it was fantastic from start to finish! We started with the Focaccia with Whipped Ricotta and Butternut Squash Caponata—an absolute must-have! The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the ricotta was smooth and airy. For our mains, we had the Tagliatelle along with a fresh side salad. Everything was bursting with flavor, and the meal was a treat for the senses.
The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, and we felt right at home. Chef Rita is amazing! I’d first sampled her whipped ricotta & caponata at Pepper Place and knew I had to come by to try more. In addition to the great food, there's a charming Italian store up front, filled with wine, fresh pasta, and gelato. We picked up some fresh pasta to take home and paired it with scallops—it was a hit! This place is now a staple in our Birmingham restaurant rotation. Highly recommend!

we recently visited your restaurant and are making plans to visit again very soon. Each dish was absolutely delicious and the wait staff was fabulous. The dining atmosphere was open and cheerful, and we felt very well taken care of.

Nice restaurant in a new building with outdoor patio in the heart of Homewood. Nice ambiance inside, casual and elegant at the same time. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre (i.e. overcooked and super-salty shrimps; cheap and chewy pizza; overcooked pasta, cheap ice cream, etc). Service was also subpar. The waiter kept budging in, interrupting the conversation to rush us to the next round of orders. He brought the wrong bottle of wine twice and did not appear to know much about the food and wine on the menu. He brought the dessert menu while still eating the entrees. Even more annoying, he stood by the table for 5 min to print out the check, and pretended to be tipped ‘on the fly’ without letting the host take a look at the check (>$300!).
In summary, I had high expectations for this place but felt disappointed by the mediocre dining experience. It’s an expensive restaurant where it’s not uncommon to drop $60-70 per person. I expect better food and service for the money.
