Customer service was excellent. Everyone greeted and made sure we got what we needed. Enjoyed the small market outside of main dining area.

Nice Italian spot in homewood! Feels and tastes authentic. My salad was amazing and pasta was good - gelato made on site!

The atmosphere and decor were nicely done. They have outdoor seating. Everything was great! Prompt service! Fresh food that was delicious! They have Happy Hour is daily 3-5 and I
enjoyed a red blend wine for half off!

The food was amazing!! Our waitress was not good. I go to lunch with friends once a month. For me good conversation and good food is important. Restaurants that don't have any soft surfaces to absorb sound are very loud. We could not hear others across the table. If the restaurant ever decided to improve noise reduction I'd be a regular. The food was really exceptional which is not easy to find in Birmingham.

This was such a lovely place for lunch! The online pictures of it do not do justice to the experience of the visit. We were so pleased with our service, I think his name was Jacob (I am so sorry if that is not correct) He was so sweet and helpful! We had the Eggplant Parmesan and it was a wonderful meal. But nothing could compare to the cannoli we had for desert! It was a comfortable space to be in every way!

Meh…… it’s not bad, but it’s definitely not my fave. It may be the problem of eating out in Birmingham on a Monday night. The drinks were really weak. I guess being spoiled by the likes of Fon Fon and Bottega at similar price points makes it tough for the competition.

I’ve tried this place several times and want to like it, but each time is disappointing. The food has always been very good for the price (definitely not a high end Italian place but for a casual spot it’s elevated), but the service has always been well below average.
A few words to describe the various servers we have had the last few times would be slow, inattentive, forgetful, and generally unprofessional. There could be various reasons for this from hiring practices, to a lack of training, but one of the big issues is that it seems management has done a bad job of overloading servers with too many tables.
On a different note, this week we sat outside and there were a lot of mosquitoes. I think they have a mosquito spray system to control them but maybe they haven’t been running it.
So, between being bitten by bugs and bad service (again) I would say we had another below average experience.

Their happy hour is awesome! half off round pies, wines (by the glass) and beer! Love it. Pizzas and pastas both great, Luca fries also amazing. Big fan of the chop salad too.

So much potential but they missed it….twice. First time we thought it was mediocre but they were pretty new. We gave it another shot tonight and yep, they still missed it. The service was great but the marinara might have chili powder in it, it just tastes off. Atmosphere is lovely and good but the food is just not up to snuff. If you want Italian there are some solid options in BHam that are worth hitting and won’t leave you wishing for the real deal.

Had heard good news about the restaurant, so my wife and I went with another couple. When we entered the noise level hit like a tsunami and continued for most of our meal. Conversation was almost impossible. We shared the okra appetizer and a plate of bread. Ample for all 4 of us and the best part of the meal. We had 4 different entrees. Adequate but not notable. The same for the desserts. At least 2 of the main courses were overpriced.

Went for the WVTM Olympic Kickoff event and the food was delicious and the space is cool. Definitely want to go back and try it on a normal night and order off the menu.

Taste Italy in Birmingham! All the fresh and homemade tastes are delicious! Great variety of food and wines. Tremendous and welcoming staff. Can’t wait to go back for Happy Hour and for cooler temps to enjoy their outdoor dining. Thanks to Ethan for a memorable dining experience! Exciting to learn all ingredients imported from Italy! Be sure to check out their market too!
