BEWARE: Predatory business practices: Booked a room the last weekend of September for October 5-6. Child, who was supposed to play in a softball tournament that weekend, ended up hurting knee. Had to go to the ER and ortho the next day. Canceled the room on the 1st. Called 1-800 number on Thursday and was told I would get a refund and if not refunded by that Friday, call back. Call today and told no refund. They are keeping the 200 plus dollars because a discount code posted on their app stated if it wasn’t canceled in 24 hours, you don’t get a refund. So they are keeping my money. Had I known that was the case, I would have given the room to one of the other parents traveling that way and at least recouped some of the funds. Instead they lied to me and now won’t refund anything. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Friendly staff, hot food cooked upon order, and decent price. I ordered a pepperoni pizza at the bar, and despite being a bit pricey, I found it reasonable for the cost of convenience.

The pizza sauce is “chunkier” than expected, which was a pleasant surprise. The crust was crunchy and didn’t taste dull. The cheese and pepperoni were good as expected.

This place is in the bar of the Birminham Marriott. Serice, food, and drinks were all excellent. But not much atmosphere. Would definitely eat there again if in the area (and would stay at this hotel).

I work for The Dinner Detective and this venue hosts us 2-4 times a month. I cannot brag on the staff enough! From Todd at the door knowing each one of us and doing anything he can to help, to the front desk staff willing to print things for us or locate someone if we need them, to Bill always smiling and being friendly. But the real MVP’s are Jarvis and Damien with the staff that serves the meals and makes sure our guests receive the best experience during dinner. Damien is always there and works so hard. He knows his stuff and makes sure we have everything we need. Jarvis is so friendly and helpful. He has been so patient and dedicated as we have worked in this new partnership and has helped us troubleshoot and work through things all with a smile on his face. Without Damien and Jarvis, we would have been in a mess a few different times. They are amazing! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Our waitress did an amazing job. She gave excellent suggestions and we loved our meal. It was a little cold but that is to be expected in a hotel.

I had the Korean cauliflower dish and it was very good! It was very similar to a boneless chicken wing in a spicy Asian sauce with a side of kimchi. Although good, I thought it was a little expensive.

Nate was awesome and made sure that I was happy! I always love staying here…the food is good as is the service. Always nice when traveling for work. The best thing about traveling is finding consistancy and that is what you get here.

We were in town for a sports tournament and our kids loved the hotel, the pool, and the location! The hotel is conveniently located next to amazing shopping and restaurants, was easy to travel to our sports venue, and the kids loved coming back to use the hotel pool. Everyone was very kind and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Miesha made the check in very & convenient. Great customer service very welcoming and helpful when I checked in. The hotel was nice and comfortable for me and my children. We will definitely be back to stay.

Everything about my stay was excellent - the location, the staff, the room and cleanliness, and the food and beverage. I would definitely recommend the Birmingham Marriott for your stay - business or pleasure!

Nice hotel, clean rooms and nice staff however, if you plan on staying there on the weekends, you better ask if they are having any kids events or large kids sports teams staying. We did not and the young kids took over this hotel from running all over to include the restaurant area, from room to room, from floor to floor and no parents sitting around stopped the dozens of kids out of control during night or day. We even watched hotel staff try to stop the kids but had no luck. Hope this helps.

If the service continues like it did last week, this is our new go-to hotel whenever I have to get up early for a flight. I've given up on the downtown hotels. From start to finish, the staff here was so kind. Joseph was a superb bartender. The cheeseburgers were delicious. The front desk person was kind, too. The room was clean and quiet. And we were to the airport in less than 20 minutes. Thanks for everything.
