Hung out at Mayawell bar this past Tuesday, and this food truck was nearby. Ordered the loaded fries. The fries could have been cooked longer, very soft and fell apart. However, the meat was seasoned just right along with the other tasty toppings. Would try them again to check out the other items on the menu.

Mezon is easily one of my fav food trucks in town! Their burritos are my fav, they're always hot and stuffed with ingredients. The guac is also bomb and I'm not even much of an avocado fan. I like that it's not super lumpy or filled with onions. The queso is my fav! Drizzle it over your burrito and you won't regret it.

I was in Birmingham for a music festival and after the last act the Uber prices were insanely priced. I started walking back towards my hotel to get away from the hot spot when I came across this food truck. The pricing was so great compared to everything else in the city, I was a little worried the food would be bad. The tacos I ordered were so good, and authentic. If you like gringo tacos, you probably will not be a fan, but authentic street tacos with nothing but onion, sauce and lime? These are it. I was very satisfied with how much food I got and the quality I got. The lady working the window was very sweet, and the food was fast. I did feel a little uncomfortable sitting and eating at the picnic tables due to so many groups of drunk men there (many bars nearby), since I was a solo female traveler, but no one bothered me.

We've ordered from Mezon three times now, and not been disappointed. We've enjoyed the burritos, tacos & burger. Last night I tried their special, Korean pork belly steam buns. Not what you might expect from their usual menu, but they were great! Thin slices of orange peel, I think, lent a nice bright citrus zip. Very tasty and great with the barleywine I was enjoying from Hi Wire across the street. Highly recommend!
