Mama G's is a must. We are from Texas and ALWAYS make a visit to Mama G's when we come to Alabama. Always meets expectations. I recommend to all my friends!

At the Homewood location, the past multiple times I've been, it has seemed like I -as the customer- was a massive inconvenience. Today put me over the edge, because the girl at the register was watching something on her phone and a coworker of hers had to point out that I was ready, then when she looked up long enough for me to order, she was incredibly short and rude. I have kept trying because the food is amazing but this may be the end for me.

The food is good but there's some kind of subtle hostility with the attitudes of the people behind the counter. I've eat there several times, never had even the smallest altercation but everytime they act resentful. Very unfriendly.Imo, the owner/manager should clean house and hire people who can at least pretend to appreciate the customers.Too many nearby food choices to support this place.

Terrible service . My wife and I were waiting with our children and they took our order very last we were the very last folks waiting in a lunch rush and they took at least 8-10 other orders ahead of ours and we waited at least an hour for sandwiches and nachos . We will not be back after such bad service there are plenty of other options rather than a mediocre sandwich shop . We took the chance in spite of the bad reviews . The bad reviews are true sadly .

I am not one to write a review but I recently received the worst customer service from the Homewood location. I went to the counter to place my order and immediately felt as if I was an inconvenience for even coming in the building. The service is not friendly at all.

Decided to give this place a try today despite the wishy washy reviews. Ordered a veggie sandwich with provolone on sourdough to go. Got home and there was no cheese on my sandwich, and the "sourdough" was actually just flimsy and lightweight white bread. A $10 sandwich too. Waste of time and money. Don't go here.
