It's decent, I mean if I'm going to go get this kind of food what I do is normally go where they cook on your table. Otherwise I'll just get the stuff at Walmart so I mean it's not that the store is better that the food is bad it's just not really my cup of tea if I'm going to get that kind of food I'm going to do it the right way

Fantastic date night spot highly highly recommend. The food is on par, they've got a wonderful drink selection, and a very attentive staff. The atmosphere is very calm and relaxing, first date here was amazing. Try the sake next time you go and get you some sushi.

Fantastic food, and food comes at exceptionally fast. Servers are great too! Overall, this place honestly might be the best hibachi I’ve had everything considered.

Walked in to have a quick lunch while I was out from work and stopped in since it's been nearly 5 or more years from the last time I've had their food. Still great hibachi, wish it wasn't so awkward in there while I awaited my order. Felt like I was being an inconvenience on their time, but glad I got to have some hibachi today on such a rainy day.

This place is fantastic, it's not as busy as it use to be,great food

Very good food, sushi was fresh, rice wasn’t too heavy, portions were generous. Very attentive waiters.

It's just amazing hibachi.

The service here is straightforward! They'll get you to your table, take your order, and get it out to you as soon as they can! The atmosphere feels really authentic and the food as well! Their sushi menu is a must-see! Everytime I've visited, I've at at a normal dinner table, so I can't say anything about the hibachi grill table. Their mixed drinks are on point, as well. A really great place to get a drink or two to unwind.

the waiter told us we couldn’t share our plate, and wouldn’t let us order unless we both ordered hibachi??! i’ve never heard that at any hibachi restaurant i’ve ever visited. don’t come here if you want to share with someone.

Okay as someone who goes to eat hibachi this place has the best food might not have the best customer service but who cares about that I care about good quality of food for price and this is the best place in Birmingham!

Went for a work trip, service was ok. I was expecting a little interaction with the chef and he didn't really talk to us.

Horrible customer service.

Server would not bring water until all 4 party members were sitting at the table.

We were sitting at a hibachi table. First person ordered a hibachi dinner. I was in the middle of ordering (sushi) and the server interrupted to ask if only 1 person was ordering hibachi because we couldn't sit there if only 1 person was ordering hibachi. We said that only 1 person was getting a full hibachi dinner, but 2 other people in the party were ordering a la carte items from the hibachi menu. We were then told that we needed to move because we could not sit at the hibachi table since only 1 person was ordering a full hibachi meal. They weren't busy, so we weren't taking seats from someone else and we were easily ordering $200 of food/ wine. He would not budge and said we had to move tables, so we said we were leaving. He then tried to stop us to pay for a glass of wine that had been delivered while we were ordering. I had not even had the chance to take sip because we were too busy being told we needed to move tables.

I understand that the tipping structure in a hibachi/sushi restaurant might be complicated and they want to fairly compensate their staff, but that was not the way to handle this situation. This policy is not posted anywhere, and not on the menu (though there was a policy about extra fees for plate sharing at the hibachi table). I would even understand a minimum order or a sitting fee (which is essentially the plate sharing fee).

We won't be back.

Horrible customer service. Walked in with my family to spend $200+ and after having been there for 25+m waiting here eventually told we couldn't sit where we wanted because of what we were ordering.

Excellent restaraunt. I've been visiting for several years and have never had a bad meal. The staff are friendly and attentive.
