Our supper club group all ejoyed a wonderful dinner here with our last night. This is probably my favorite local restaurant since they serve lots of healthy meals, their food is consistently delicious. There’s a wide variety of food options (including grilled or fried seafood, burgers, chicken & Greek dishes) and all are generous portions. Also, it’s quiet enough to hold a group coversation, and the service is friendly & professional. Last night, the check-in host, Will Walker, ensured we were seated at a round table as I’d reserved and our server also provided excellent service throughout, including separate checks for each couple.
The dinner plates have changed recently. Pita Stop is no longer serving dinners in a rectangular glass dish. Smaller portions and no rice. A bit disappointing. The food is still good though.

The Pita Stop continues to be one of my favorites in Birmingham!! My husband took me on a date when we were engaged.... and we've been eating her for over 25 years!! They consistently deliver great food and service! Matt & Moe are fabulous! They make us feel at home every time! Our favorites: The Seafood Kabob, Rack of Lamb, Grouper Plate and the shrimp appetizer!

Got lunch kafta. Hubby got grouper (Wedneday, you know). They were both delicious. Make sure you dine with a friend who will let you taste their food ? Thoroughly enjoyed it

I used to eat here at least 2 to 3 times a month. But when I went today the chicken had no spices, the salad dressing tasted like vinegar, the hummus was like eating wallpaper paste. I did not see any of the regular people in the kitchen had the same waitstaff. Sadly, I probably will not be back.

The portions were massive, the food was so good, and service was perfect.
Found myself stopping by The Original Pita Stop to grab an early dinner. It took about 20mins to get our food and it took about 6 mins to regret it!!! I ate about 2/3 of my Pepper Steak Omelette. About that time, I took off to the bathroom and 1/2 of that omelette came aggressively back with a might my force. The kitchen staff heard me retching and gagging and didn’t say a word. Once I finished hurling, I beckoned my husband to let’s go. The young lady that checked us out told us the meal was free then my server came to the register with our receipt and said “that’ll be $32”. Did they really just charge me for a meal that was in the toilet??!?! Eat at your own peril is all I have to say!!!
