My mother in law is a patient right now on 3rd floor west. She had a heart attack and I can honestly say everyone, and I mean everyone, from nurses to house keeping to aids have been absolutely amazing! Super sweet and never have to ask for anything. It’s just done. I have said more than once this is the “Chick-fil-A” of hospitality for hospitals! I have sat with a lot of elderly in hospitals and I can honestly say this has been the best experience and patient care I have seen in an extremely long time and she’s been her for 4 days so it’s not just been because it was a short stay! So shout out to all those on 3 West! You all are a true blessing and we are so grateful for the love, patient care and respect you have shown our family ❤️ The Smiths Room #3109
I honestly love the staff of this hospital and the people but unfortunately my finace has had a some very interested experiences here. Firstly he had surgery. But before he could have surgery he needed his intestines and bowels cleaned out. So, the stuck down his throat( the er was great though this was after he he had been admitted. He was on the 4th floor). Anyways, First night there, the tube was not working properly and all the poop was backing up. I told the nurse and she argued with me. I also told her several times. She even looked at it and said everything was okay. I have pics and videos of this. I stayed awake the whole night making sure nothing happened and making sure it was going back into his throat. Then the next morning the next nurse came in and said yes something is definitely wrong with this. And she fixed it. Then after surgery when he was about to be sent home the doctor sent him home with not gauze or anything on the wound. And he was opened from one side of his stomach to the other. I even asked the doctor if he should be put something on his wound and he said no. His ports had something on the but nothing more. Also, came home with very little instructions on how to take care of it. Fast forward a 1 month and he's back over here with a severe infection (tried to get him help elsewhere but no other doctor would touch it since it was another surgeon who did it). FYI by law we can choose our own doctors. Now they can refuse treatment but if they're in the ER THEY HAVE TO TREAT YOU. Just had to make another phone call because they were refusing to touch him at a different ER. They didn't even out gauze back on him after they had taken it off. So, anyways back at Princeton! And I called the nurses desk to get some updated. And she literally said your bf has a phone you call call him!!!!!!! The whole system is about to collapse folks!! It's time to get right. If I'm having to tell these docotors and nurses how to perform their tasks what are they doing. The irony in all of this is that some of them are listening. Well! Praise God! It's like light bulb moment. Oh yeah I should probably do that! Also, some of the nurses were talking about, laughing about and very loudly I might in our room about the patient down the hall. Not only laughing about how they were acting but talking about what was wrong with them. Like medically. And that's a direct hippa violation.
This place is a joke. Lazy and rude staff who acts like it's a huge inconvenience to provide basic assistance to someone bed ridden in their ICU, delaying care, and the facility itself is so run down you would think you're in the middle east. To top it off, you have to pay to leave the parking lot. Yes, you have to pay to LEAVE. Not sure if that's even legal. You should be absolutely ashamed of yourselves and it's beyond me how this place is still open. I'm also convinced this is pretty much where people come to die. Every family member I've had that has come here over the years has died and part of that is probably because of your incompetence and lack of attention. Why my family insisted on going to this dump is beyond me.
Couldn't have been treated better or more professional anywhere else
My MIL has been in their ICU for a month and I had to visit their ER yesterday. Overall great experience.
I only have great things to say about all of my visits; myself, my mother, my friend Chuck and my friend's Adrienne..
I was greeted with friendly staff, great doctors and fast service..My friend Chuck was hospitalized at Princeton, they took Excellent care of him until he was discharged..My friend Adrienne just recently visit the ER to get staples out of her stomach..staff was friendly, polite and didn't hurt her removing the staples.
My mother also went in and out of this hospital until she became independent back on her feet..she and I have nothing but praise for the nurses and doctor's. Thank you Princeton
My husband had surgery with two clots in his aorta. He had been there two days before they ever brought him a meal to eat..he was not NPO. He was asking for his pain meds and nurse said many times that she couldn’t give it and he went many hours over his med time while writhing in pain. After the surgery in the ICU the nurses did not read the dr. Orders and gave my hubs water even though he had been given a ng tube. In eight days his bed was never changed, he was never offered a bath. Over the weekend there were no and I mean no staff even there. When I left to go home for a bath and clothes when I made it back to the hospital he would be so angry because he would ask for a drink and he would get nothing. I brought he fluids and not once was water left in his room. I cannot believe the state or feds don’t shut this hospital. As one of our nurses called it ‘killer hospital’.
Great Hospital but Valet Parking is needed at the Main Hospital for visitors as well as the POB and the Clinic.

After being mistaken for another person by security. A security guard named Thomas was COMPLETELY unprofessional. After being seen at the er prior to him harassing me.. I was asked to leave for basically no reason. I was quiet, and he basically put me out. I will NEVER recommend this hospital! A bunch of incompetent security officers who Doesn’t value patients. Completely unacceptable. Not to mention he discriminated against me.
I got attacked by the parking lot by a woman I have never seen before. I asked the parking attendants to call the police and they told me it didn't have anything to do with them. They let her hit me in the face 4 times before they intervened. Security finally showed up but the woman had already fled the scene. Then they wanted to know why I didn't get her tag number. My doctor did very little to help me and the police acted like she was the victim. If you care about your safety stay away from this place.
This place is a joke my wife had back surgery October 9th the pain meds didn't come when they were suppose my wife was in terrible pain she never got relief so I brought her home and she's doing a little better we will never go back to this place I would give u a 0 but I had to put 1 star. Never again at this Hospital where no one cares. shame shame shame
The ER department staff was courteous, kind, and respectful. However, discrimination is 100% full blown. Re: we arrived at 11:00 AM, along with another non ethnic patient at 11:00 AM, Another non ethnic patient arrived in the ER at 1:00 PM. all 3 patients had to be admitted.
Non ethnic patient came in @ 1PM got a bed at 8:00 PM
Non ethnic patient came in @ 11AM got a bed at 8:30 PM
We ethnic patient came in @ 11AM got a bed at 10:30 PM.
It's hard to comprehend why such discriminatory practice is being displayed in 2024. SMH
They told my nephew to be here at 5 a.m. Then once we get here...they tell him he was not scheduled for surgery til 12 p.m.
Disorganized to say the least.
