As I sit here midway through my tasting I’m delighted to have something like this in downtown Birmingham. It’s an experience!
This place is great! Zach is a damn alchemist when it comes to making drinks, and Abu gave us phenomenal service. 10/10

Rêve is the most ambitious restaurant in Birmingham and the best one. It is the only tasting menu restaurant in the city, offering a dining experience typically found in a major city. The 10 course tasting menu is good, with high quality items prepared in a very nice presentation. The flavors and textures are unique and carefully considered, with each dish accompanied by a poem. The six course pairing menu, caviar and wine pairing, and dessert wines are also highlights. The wine pairing elevates the food in a unique way. Standout dishes include the lamb, the tomato on the flounder dish, canapes, burnt cream, and desserts. The food quality is good and the service is exceptional, immaculate, and impeccable. The service anticipates every need and explains the best way to experience each dish. Be ready to spend 3 hours. The atmosphere is excellent. However, the bathroom and parking situation are not, with 5 star food but 2 star bathroom and parking. Overall, the experience is fantastic, with an exceptional wine list and food that tells a story.
