10/10 Great food, great atmosphere, great service! We had the Right Hook and it was LOADED with toppings! We will definitely be back!
I loved Rocky’s pizza it was so good!! I haven’t been since they reopened!!
We found this place on google. It was walking distance from the Homewood suites hotel we stayed at. I didn’t realize it was boxing themed when I found it. We ate there. We enjoyed the food. I had a pizza and my wife had the chicken Parmesan. We both enjoyed our meal. It wasn’t very noisy at the time we were there.

Rocky's Pizza & Italian Foods is a popular spot in downtown Birmingham known for its delicious pizza and Italian dishes. The restaurant has a boxing-themed decor with photos and memorabilia that add a unique touch to the atmosphere. It offers a variety of options, including pasta, salads, wings, and appetizers, with plenty of vegetarian and meat choices. The menu features pizzas named after famous boxers, which adds a fun element to the dining experience. Customers often praise the quality of the pizza, especially the crispy crust and fresh toppings. Notable pizzas mentioned include the Power Punch, loaded with olives, sausage, grilled chicken strips, pepperoni, beef, bacon crumbles, peppers, onions, and tomatoes, and the Evander Holifield, with basil pesto sauce, spinach, mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, black olives, garlic, and feta cheese. The pizza dough is crispy and flavorful, and the variety of toppings makes each pizza special. Appetizers like mozzarella bites are highly recommended, and drinks are served quickly in a seat-yourself bar area with great seating. The staff is generally friendly and welcoming, creating a pleasant environment for casual meetups, watching sports, or a casual date. Parking is convenient, and prices are reasonable, making it a favorite local spot. While most reviews highlight great service and food, some mention occasional service issues, but overall, Rocky's remains a beloved pizza place worth returning to.
