So we drove from Northport just to try the food and is was terrible. The fufu was ok but the lamb was horrible nothing but bones in 2 of our boxes with a little bit of fat on them and I've had plenty of lamb they have meat. The egusi soup taste like oily straight peanut butter with no seasoning We spent $70 for nothing. Plus a 2 hr drive. I do not recommend

Fufu was overcooked and it's not as authentic as the real African food I have had. But it's ok to

I had the goat pepper soup with fufu and it was incredible. The meat was falling off the bone and the sauce was so thick and full of well blended spices it reminded me of a curry. Hearty portions and excellent service. 10/10 - thank you Sahani Kitchen! ?

I have been looking for Egusi soup in Alabama for a couple of years. This food was heaven sent. The soup was flavorful. The goat melted off the bone. I am in love!

My family ate here, and we all loved the food. We had the whole fish, fufu, egusi soup and nyama. Everything was delicious and the service was great. Highly recommend.

To be completely frank, I have never had food quite like this before. I had to do some research on the best way to eat fufu and it was worth it! The man behind the counter was quite friendly and helpful! Overall, food was absolutely delicious and very filling!

I can't say enough about this place! I drive from Huntsville to Birmingham just to eat at this place. The Egusi, the lamb, the fufu, the quesadillas, the greens, the fries, the samosas, and the fried bread are all my favorites but I wouldn't hesitate to try everything in the menu! They are family owned and super friendly!

Incredible food. Super friendly folks. Get the fufu and egusi. You will not be sorry. On a scale of 1-10, this place is a 100.
