We were driving from Destin Florida to Detroit Michigan and we decided to stop here on our route. Best idea ever. Never heard of Saw's BBQ before but it sounded great. We got there when it opened and the staff were very welcoming and the food was beyond delicious. Chef Michael really takes an interest in his customers and you can tell he puts a lot of love into his food. My husband and I are still talking about the food days later. I ordered the chicken thighs and my husband ordered the brisket and pulled pork. All the sides were fantastic especially, fried okra, corn, and collard greens. I definitely, without hesitation, recommend stopping at this restaurant. Thank you for a great experience! We will try to come back again .

I always heard of and passed by Saw’s for years and decided to go in because they’re about the only ones offering Smoked Brisket. Mannn, they did not disappoint. I got the Brisket Sandwich so I could start small, in case I didn’t like it. It was righteously delicious! Perfect toasted bun a few pickles, a dab of bbq sauce and the white twang sauce gave it a soft almost cheese like consistency combined with a real smoked flavor. I was hooked yall.
I’ll be back for more.

Hands down one of the best in Birmingham! The food was delicious - we had the smoked chicken sandwich, pulled pork sandwich and the smoked wings. We also really enjoyed the mint tea, and the staff were very friendly!

We ate lunch here during a quick trip to Birmingham. I am so glad we did! The whole experience was awesome. Great customer service, great atmosphere. ..and the food...OMG. We had the triple decker club, brisket sandwich, fries, baked beans and potato salad. They brought us a sample of the mac and cheese as well. Everything was absolutely delicious but those baked beans, best I've ever had! Oh we tried the smoked sausage hushpuppies with pepper jelly too! So good! If we are ever in the area again we will definitely eat here again!

If I could give this place 10 stars I would! It’s very casual and cozy inside, and the main guy at the counter was very kind and accommodating. We were served within 10 minutes and the food was out of this world. Heard another customer say this place had the best chicken sandwich they’ve ever had, and I can say that about my collards as well. If you’re in Birmingham this place is a must-try!
