If I could give this place 10 stars I would! It’s very casual and cozy inside, and the main guy at the counter was very kind and accommodating. We were served within 10 minutes and the food was out of this world. Heard another customer say this place had the best chicken sandwich they’ve ever had, and I can say that about my collards as well. If you’re in Birmingham this place is a must-try!
Saw’s BBQ is one of the best BBQ joints I have ever been to. Its decor may fool you. It’s not posh or charming. It is a true BBQ joint, where all the love and the very soul of the owners is invested in the quality of the food! lf you ever watched House of Cards, it’s like the old BBQ restaurant the president would sneak off to. ..and the food...OMG. We had the triple decker club, brisket sandwich, fries, baked beans and potato salad. They brought us a sample of the mac and cheese as well. Everything was absolutely delicious but those baked beans, best I've ever had! Oh we tried the smoked sausage hushpuppies with pepper jelly too! So good!...
