We’ve been three times and always ate at the bar. The bartenders were always quite knowledgeable about the menu and happy to give suggestions. The service was quick and friendly. Each time we went we ran into friends who were also enjoying themselves. This is a new go to place for us!

Sea Bar by Little Betty is an outstanding addition to the Birmingham dining scene. The restaurant has a beautiful, sophisticated, and inviting atmosphere with great attention to detail. The food is exceptional, fresh, flavorful, and creative, with every dish presented beautifully. The menu is thoughtfully curated, and specific dishes like black cod, duck, wagyu fried rice, scallop hand roll, and alaskan oysters are all very good. The service is warm, attentive, and knowledgeable. Staff are quick, friendly, and thorough in explaining the menu and the chef’s intentions with each dish. The bartenders are knowledgeable and happy to give suggestions. One visit had a wait past the reservation time, but staff acknowledged it and offered a free appetizer on the house, and also comped homemade ice cream at the end. The service feels like a mix of a Grandma's house and a Michelin star level restaurant. The food makes you cherish every bite. It is a unique spot in Birmingham, and the price justifies the experience. This is a new go-to place, highly recommended for anyone into seafood or sushi. It is one of the best restaurants in Birmingham.
