“Really enjoyed our time here! Katie took great care of us! She was helpful and patient and informative. It was my first time there and I thought the food was excellent! I especially loved the smoked wings! However, I was blown away by the banana pudding! Never had banana puddling like that before and now I'm hooked. I gotta figure out if they ship that pudding out of state 🤣 that might be the best I've ever had! Next time I come back to Birmingham, I'll definitely make time to stop by! A+++++ to management and staff!“

“This is THE BEST soul food restaurant in Birmingham! It looks like a hole in the wall but the food is AMAZING! Everything, down to the sweet tea was PERFECT. Full of flavor, food was hot! I will definitely go back and I suggest y'all go try this food....5 STAR!!!!!“

“Look past where this place is, it's Birmingham, the whole place sucks, just focus on what you're ordering and don't hand out change. It'll start a feeding frenzy with the locals. Good food from a slept on eatery. Lock your doors when you go in.“

“First time at this restaurant. Great food and great customer service. You blink and you'll drive right by it. Some great restaurants come in small sizes! I'll be going back. Shrimp and Grits were very good. Peach pie was off the chain. Trying the Ox Tails next!“

“A great restaurant to get food that is delicious and home style cooked. It is the definition of Soul Food. Definitely worth the visit to eat on a Sunday. Suggest to get there before noon or probably after 2PM. It is one price ( $18) per person that is all inclusive of all you can eat, drink, and dessert.“

“O' Taste & See has really set the bar when it comes to delicious soul food. The menu options, staff hospitality and size of servings are unmatched. The restaurant is about a 40 minute drive for me, but I gladly make that drive w/o hesitation. Every week I'm faced with making a decision on what to get. Everything that I've had from the liver, the fried chicken, the fried smothered pork chops, the Ox tails, to the hamburger steak, has been a 10 every time. O' Taste & See does not miss!“
