I Love Miss Kat Cooking I’ve Been Eating Here For Years, Best Soul Food Spot On The East Side. I Tried Zaties And The Food Is Never Seasoned There, So I Had To stick To Miss Kat
When walking in the door, you will get a hello. You'll also get a list of what is cooked fresh and will take longer. Order from the fresh everything else is cold and will need to be reheated when you get home. The guy cooking in the back will be real upset about that fresh order, but he will cook it. When I arrived my food was ready she was alone working so the door was locked I had to wait to be let in. The chicken was fried one piece was fresh the other was refried and burnt did not eat it. I don't have a problem waiting for fresh hot food very disappointed.
