“Went to 2 different locations before visiting Prive/Palace. You get entry to the restaurant for free and the club in back for $10. Security will check you before entering and parking spaces were nice.
The bartender was very nice and the people eating were also very nice. We ate wings, fries, catfish nuggets and had some drinks in between visits to the back club“

“The pulled pork BBQ has big tender chunks of meat. The sauce is thin, but packed with flavor. The onion rings are cut thin, more like onion straws, and are a really good side. The banana pudding is the perfect sweet ending. Enjoyed the live music on a Thursday night. Very friendly and efficient service.“

“Using to much SALT. I got the Oxtails and they were delicious. My friend ordered the chicken and dressing and hers to too salty also. We are both older women with hypertension issues. My first time there, I don't know if I want to return 😕. I'm sad about that.“

“I order the smothered porkchops, it was so tenderrisum to the bone, the plate were so very deserving, Ms. Shay is amazing her customer services was on point. She made us feel like we were at home. My Dad ordered the pig feet plate, he said the pig feet was sooo tender fall off the bone. The sides was delicious too. We had a superd experience their. THE peanut banana pudding was amazing 👏 very good. We enjoyed our food. I will be back, it's a great soulful restaurant, it's a hidden gem. Very worth going to. Thank you so much for serving us.“

“Look past where this place is, it's Birmingham, the whole place sucks, just focus on what you're ordering and don't hand out change. It'll start a feeding frenzy with the locals. Good food from a slept on eatery. Lock your doors when you go in.“
“RUN don't walk.....seriously. We did a catering order for 13 people for ribs and chicken with mac & cheese, green beans, peach Lem-onade, and chocolate cheesecake. First of all the smoky flavors on the meats are to die for. The sides all had amazing flavor. Sometimes mac&cheese is dry - not this stuff. So good and her green beans - have meat in them so you know they were cooked like collards would be. So amazing. Now - chocolate cheesecake - it will change your life....people are still talking about our lunch. Makes me think her beans would be really good too. I have been told that the okra is the best around but will have to try that a different time.“

“I ordered my food out on a night there was a lot of sports teams in town and had to wait a little extra for it to be made(no fault of the restaurant as 15 orders cane in at the same time) but it was worth the wait! The loaded cajun ranch fries were the best I've had! I ordered a spinach salad as well and it was absolutely delicious. When I called the person was nice and willing to let me know what's going on.
Next time I'm in town Ill have to go in and eat.“
“First time at this restaurant. Great food and great customer service. You blink and you'll drive right by it. Some great restaurants come in small sizes! I'll be going back. Shrimp and Grits were very good. Peach pie was off the chain. Trying the Ox Tails next!“

“A great restaurant to get food that is delicious and home style cooked. It is the definition of Soul Food. Definitely worth the visit to eat on a Sunday. Suggest to get there before noon or probably after 2PM. It is one price ( $18) per person that is all inclusive of all you can eat, drink, and dessert.“

“I ordered liver and onions, sweet potato casserole, macaroni and cheese, and cornbread today for my dinner. It was absolutely delicious and I even have some left for tomorrow. I definitely recommend everyone try the food.“
