“Really good experience, starting with the manager rearranging table so that our party of 14 could sit together. Great service and great food at a reasonable price. We got the half wedge salad and pork and greens, fried pickles, fried tomatoes, and pimento cheese and pepper jelly appetizers.“

“Gotta say a big thank you to Jim ‘n Nick’s BBQ in Athens, GA. I drove through there, hoping to get the awesome sounding baked potato that is described on their menu. After ordering my kiddo’s chicken fingers, I asked for the potato only to be told they had run out of them for the night. 😞 when I pulled up to pick up our food,  the chef (Matt) had found out that I had really wanted a potato and so he gave me one for free. That makes potato might’ve been part of his employee meal he was taking home. I don’t know but that gentleman made my night.  by the way, the potato is very good, but the service was even better!“

“Thanks to TikTok i finally got to try this place & yep…. It’s everything they said it would be. The sausage egg & cheese biscuit is a must. So good & seasoned & it’s BIG. I ordered 2 but definitely not eating the other one. I won’t even need lunch in 4hrs….My said the bologna egg and cheese was god too. Check it out“
“The best bbq place in Birmingham!! The only thing is parking will be a little irritating so it’s best to go in the morning when they first open for better parking arrangements. Other than that, even if you have to walk a little bit to get in there…ITS WORTH IT!!“

“My son and I stopped by there today and we both ordered chicken with baked beans and slaw. Man, what a great place to eat. Rodney and his staff make you feel like your family. This place has been there for many years and there’s a reason it’s because of the food is good! If you’re hungry for some good barbecue, don’t pass this place up. It’s down in historic Eastlake.“

“I ordered my food out on a night there was a lot of sports teams in town and had to wait a little extra for it to be made(no fault of the restaurant as 15 orders cane in at the same time) but it was worth the wait! The loaded cajun ranch fries were the best I've had! I ordered a spinach salad as well and it was absolutely delicious. When I called the person was nice and willing to let me know what's going on.
Next time I'm in town Ill have to go in and eat.“

So the chicken was meh. It has a weird taste I can't place. Fried okra was on point, and the sausage was ok.
The service, on the other hand, was outstanding. Very nice wait staff and I didn't have to wait too long on refills.

“Manager Frank Jackson has his staff running efficiently and at the highest level of service at this Longhorn location. From the Shareable Starter Parm-Crusted Bacon Ranch cheese fries to the melt-in-your-mouth chop hamburger steak and Sirloin with grilled red rock shrimp, the food and service were better than most restaurants in the Trussville area. Hats off to Mr Jackson, his chef, and his entire serving crew. Y’all knocked it ALL outta the park tonight. Thanks for a great dinner out. Well done! :)“

“We stoped in for dinner after work and were immediately seated and the server was very attentive. I got the ribeye with a side salad and broccoli. The food came out pretty quick and it was very good! I would definitely come back in the future!“

“I love the deviled eggs and the muffins! Of course the BBQ is delicious but the Pies are a must try! The staff is very prompt and courteous. I use curbside to pick up dinner and it’s convenient especially with all the traffic on 280.“
