“This Longhorn is very good. My ribeye steak was made exactly as ordered. The salad was crisp and delicious not o mention the hot, creamy sweet potato with butter and cinnamon sugar. I generally have leftovers after dining at a restaurant but I cleaned my plate! Majestic our server was very attentive and took very good care of us.“

“We visited during a road trip with our dog, and the staff treated her so kindly, even though she started off a bit restless after being in the car for so long but after she settled down they came by with a treat. “Gotta say a big thank you to Jim ‘n Nick’s BBQ in Athens, GA. I drove through there, hoping to get the awesome sounding baked potato that is described on their menu. After ordering my kiddo’s chicken fingers, I asked for the potato only to be told they had run out of them for the night. 😞 when I pulled up to pick up our food,  the chef (Matt) had found out that I had really wanted a potato and so he gave me one for free. That makes potato might’ve been part of his employee meal he was taking home. I don’t know but that gentleman made my night.  by the way, the potato is very good, but the service was even better!“

“I ordered my food out on a night there was a lot of sports teams in town and had to wait a little extra for it to be made(no fault of the restaurant as 15 orders cane in at the same time) but it was worth the wait! The loaded cajun ranch fries were the best I've had! I ordered a spinach salad as well and it was absolutely delicious. When I called the person was nice and willing to let me know what's going on.
Next time I'm in town Ill have to go in and eat.“

“If the ratings went higher than 5 stars I would rank it higher. Birmingham is a city filled with great BBQ restaurants. If it isn't good BBQ, it won't last. My wife and I ate at Martin's Bar-B-Que Joint for the first time today, and we have found our new favorite BBQ joint. We enjoy watching Pat Martin's tv show, "Life of Fire," so we came with very high expectations. They surpassed them. When we stepped out of the car the smoke BBQ smell was amazing. I ordered a pulled pork shoulder sandwich and asked them to top it with coleslaw and had a side of mac & cheese and bought a second side, cornbread hoecake. Martha ordered the sliced brisket sandwich with a side of baked beans. I started with the mac & cheese. It was delicious with plenty of cheese and baked to perfection with a crispy cheese top. Really delicious. The cornbread hoecake was incredible it looks like and has the consistency of a pancake. You must order that when you go. Then I picked up the pulled pork shoulder sandwich and sunk my teeth in it. Oh, my! Pulled pork at its best. I added the Jack's Creek vinegar-based sauce to it, and wow, that added even more outstanding flavor to it. I've found my new favorite BBQ sauce. Martha thoroughly enjoyed her sliced brisket sandwich. We both had a bite of each others sandwiches and both were mouth-satisfying delicious. The brisket was perfect. The baked beans were very tasty, too. Everything was about as perfect as you can get at a BBQ joint. Pat Martin knows his BBQ, just as he displays on his show "Life of Fire." Before I could say anything, Martha said, "This is the best BBQ I've ever had. Let's come back for lunch tomorrow." She didn't have to twist my arm. We still like many other delicious BBQ restaurants in Birmingham, and will eat at them again, but Martin's Bar-B-Que Joint is our new favorite. In a city where BBQ is king, Martin's Bar-B-Que Joint sits atop the throne.“

“This was my 1st time at any Dreamland. It did not live up to the hype I had heard. I was told how meaty and juicy the ribs are, even at this location. These were not bad, but they were a bit skimpy. While they were not dry, neither were they juicy and they were just short of being tough.
Our server wasn't bad, but he was very absent and not attentive.“
