“We have always enjoyed Baha Burger. Due to medical issues, it’s been some time since we last ate there. The owner was always so courteous to us and eager for us try new things. He introduced me to the delicious remoulade that is a must for all things I order. However, our most recent experience made us feel differently. I know people have off days. We are all entitled to them….BUT…while we were eating, we overheard the owner yelling at the cook (he was standing directly behind us) about how many tater tots he put on my sons plate. He said it was too much for a child portion and went on and on about it. There were nine tater tots on his plate and he ate them all. My son overheard him yelling at the cook and asked me if he should give some of them back. That hurt my heart that my five year old felt guilty eating a meal that was set in front of him. I’m sure we will still give them our business because the food is amazing. I just hope the owner understands that sometimes things should be handled differently. Nine tater tots was not a true reason to have gotten so upset. Now if it had been ten….😜“

“They have a good variety of sushi as well as appetizers and other Japanese dishes. My absolute favorite is their tuna tartar appetizer. They have some crunch added to the meat that gives it a nice texture while not affecting the flavor. I also tried the cucumber wrapped sushi. Not bad, I just felt that the sauce needed to be a bit thicker to stick to the cucumber. So flavor was a bit lacking when eaten even though it is on the plate in front of you.“

“I love wings plus. Out of all of the Wings joints I've been to Wings Plus in Bluff Park tops them all. I have never had anything less than freshly made delicious food and I don't just order wings. “Last night my husband and I ate dinner at Firebirds. Our steaks were INCREDIBLE. They could compete with Fleming’s or Perry’s. Our service was excellent. I wish I remembered our servers name, she was quick and very kind (she had on a David Yurman cross pendant, young and light brown hair). I do recommend making a reservation if you’re going on a Friday/Saturday night. As we were leaving, we heard the hostess say it would be a 3 hour wait for the party that just arrived. Will be back!“

“This was my first visit to Iguana Grill in Hoover. I ordered the Iguana’s Fajita, which included steak, chicken, and bacon-wrapped shrimp, along with rice, refried beans, guacamole, pico de gallo, and tortillas. It was a generous meal with a variety of things to try.

The restaurant has a colorful interior, with hanging star lights and woven lamps throughout the dining area. Between the food and the distinctive setting, I’m glad I had the chance to try somewhere new.“

“My son and I stopped in for breakfast after not visiting this location for a few years. It was just as busy as we remembered, but thankfully, we did not have to wait for a table.

Our server was Gonzalo, if I am remembering the spelling correctly. He greeted us promptly, took our drink orders, and gave us plenty of time to browse the extensive menu before deciding what we wanted.

Despite how busy the restaurant was, our food arrived within a reasonable amount of time, and everything was delicious. I had the bacon, egg, and cheese anytime tacos and ordered a side of avocado. So yummy!! In my opinion, it is a far better choice than Waffle House for breakfast. I mean, they have several syrups to choose from! Yum!“

We don't typically eat out often, but the food is delicious and fresh, the prices are great, and the restaurant was clean and full of delicious options.
