“We stopped impromptu on a road trip with twin 1 year olds. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Our babies have egg allergies and they made sure there was no cross contamination. We always make a mess wherever we go so I try to clean up after ourselves and they refused, saying they just wanted us to have a good time. Great food and excellent service!“

“For a chain it has a good menu though small. We all opted for the burgers special each getting a different burger all for the same price. I had the Mexican inspired served between two toasted flour tortillas,two beef patties,lettuce, a type of salsa. Much easier to eat than I had imagined but better in flavors. Another person had them ultimate cheese burger served sliced in half, cut side buried in bubbling cheese sauce. It was vary much enjoyed. A third person enjoyed a bacon cheeseburger that had the most traditional look and like the others a perfectly cooked beef patty charred around the edges. The service was prompt and friendly and we were checked on appropriately. This was a chance eating experience, we had planned to eat in another restaurant but it was closed for the holiday. We were pleased with the substitution and will be back.“

“Take out for a general tso and it was just how I like it! Other places in Gardendale/Fultondale don't have the same flavor of general tso I've been looking for but China One does. Will be back for sure! Portions were large as well.“

The 2 gentleman never sighed, raised a brow, or got upset..The 2 , Cook and Server, performed as if I were the D.M. or w/Cooperate! I don't know if I have Ever had a "NO COMPLAINT " Experience from this franchise or the other ones similar to, but it was PERFECT! From the greeting to the last bite! It would have been nice to dine in but for whatever reason, I was unable to just like the others who came while I was there. Thanks! I Highly recommend this location.“

“We are visiting Birmingham this weekend for the Lake Street Dive show tomorrow. Restaurant Week led us to OvenBird. Last night we ordered the Tomato Salad, Hanger Steak and Roasted Chicken. Among the best, most delicious meal we’ve ever had. The Tomato Salad is over the top delectable. Chris, our server, welcomed us to the restaurant and to Birmingham with informative, gracious service. My Dad and I were there around 1:30PM Wednesday where a few at the Bar and us only on the food side, we had some laughs with Suede our server, very Cool guy and Jordan his girlfriend at the bar is a Spiderman fan like me! Dad and I enjoyed the Pulled Pork Plates and baked beans with long uncut fried okra (first time I have ever had it served like that, less time stabbing with a fork, ate em like fries!)
