I wanted so badly to give them a zero. Yet the waitresses were so sweet. My raisin toast was overcooked with no butter. Grits so thick and lumpy they could've been used to spackle . The bacon was cooked to perfection, and my waffle, which had been forgotten, was cooked way too long (but this worked so well with the syrup) it wasn't mushy and soggy. Waffle House is always a treat. I was surprised that Waffle House remains affordable. A big breakfast begins at $9.00 to $9.50 depending on location but there is a $1.00 upcharge for cheese eggs which is a must. Beverage and tip are extra. I still marvel at the huge strips of bacon Waffle House serves. I have also learned how to get my hash browns cooked thoroughly. Just ask them to scatter them and cook them well. Came here on Christmas Day. Traveling through. Open 24 hours a day. 365 days a year so that's kinda neat. We did have to wait a little bit to get a seat. But Waffle House is one of the very few restaurants open on Christmas so it was pretty busy. Food was okay. Hash browns and bacon and eggs. Food here is cheap in my opinion. Pretty small restaurant. I don't know what the seating capacity is but it's not very much.
