Over the last decade I've lived in 4 southern states. This place is one of the very best bbq joints around. They have an amazing rib plate. They have great service and a nice selection of local beers on tap. Highly recommend.
Fried green tomatoes were the star of the show. Crispy batter and the sauce that came with was a nice compliment. Brisket and ribs were smoked well, tender, and just a little on the dry side. Besides the ribs and slaw coming off a bit salty, it was a good meal. The server came to check on me and recommended I try some of the house made pickles and pickled onions - great call. Loved, loved, loved it. Food was fantastic. Went based on other reviews. They were spot on.Fried green tomato sandwich, brisket sandwich, smashburger were all very good. We are not fond of grits, but (based on reviews) ordered the smoked gouda grits. THEY WERE AMAZING.Not cheap, average portion sizes, but the quality was top notch.We will definitely be back.
