Me and my office mates love Steakout for lunch

From start to finish, this was one of the best food and customer service experiences I’ve had in a long time. The food is incredible, truly next-level, but what makes Steak-Out special is the people behind it.
I reached out hoping that I might be able to talk them into coming to Chelsea, and my message was passed along to the owner of the Birmingham location. She had seen my positive TikTok and actually called me personally. We talked, and she was just the sweetest human. This is a family-run, locally owned business. They bought out the franchise, and it’s her and her dad running it together, and they are about to celebrate 36 years of business!
Her dad is the butcher and hand-cuts the steaks and grinds the meat for the burgers in-house. You can taste the care and pride in every bite. That level of quality and integrity is rare.
Amazing food. Incredible service. Wonderful people. This level of care from customer service to product is a rarity now days. I’ll be a loyal customer for life.

This is a long story , but after 23 years , I finally got to eat at Steak Out , and it DID NOT disappoint! When I was a kid living in the apartments near The Galleria, we would get Steak Out Advertisement Menus in our mailbox often. Growing up, my family never went out to eat , and I always desired to eat at a steak restaurant. As a kid, the only steak restaurant I knew was Steak Out because of the ad menus. I told myself that when I’m a grown up making real money, I would go eat at Steak Out! Eventually, moving back to Birmingham after college, I realized the Steak Out location in Hoover was closed, so I could no longer fulfill one of my childhood dreams. This was until I discovered there was a Steak Out in Homewood. So I went on New Year’s Eve, and order a ribeye dinner , it was absolutely fantastic! The steak was cooked perfectly and the seasoning was just right! The staff (Tommy and Marianne) was so nice and friendly! Can’t wait to come back and dine at Steak Out again!

Tommy at Steak-Out is the best! He is always so attentive and takes time to ensure a quality experience. Mariana is also very kind and is always on top of things at the restaurant. I know I am always in good hands when Tommy and Mariana are working! 10/10 would recommend.

This is one of the best places to get steak! My steak was perfectly tender and cooked to perfection. The salad is fresh and crispy. They are quick and so kind. It is also locally owned. The best place for a casual steak dinner!
