Sumo Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Bar

Tried this place a few times now and if you're going fo sushi it's well prepared and decent quality. Everything else is horrible. Every time the meat is overcooked to rubber no matter what I order or how I order it. Sauces and seasonings are almost non existent just too much salt and nothing else. Even the teriyaki chicken had no teriyaki at all. The sides were low quality as we'll as many of the ingredients. It's impossible to justify this food costing what a nice restaurant does but had food no better than the Panda Express across the street.

On top of that they can't get the order right and fried rice every time I ask for steamed rice.

We went here to celebrate my daughter's 13th birthday, this was the 2nd time we went and we enjoyed ourselves, the food and customer service is great, the shrimp and steak is my go to favorite but my daughter orders the lobster every time we go

Great food, timely service, and pleasant atmosphere. The staff, however, is absolutely incredible! Very accommodating and attentive, so friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure our experience was a sweet and memorable one.

The food here is simply amazing, and the servers are incredibly friendly and attentive. Paired with a wonderful atmosphere, this restaurant is the best in town. Highly recommended!

When trying to order to go and being told they won't give you the soup and salad you are paying 35$ for is absolutely ridiculous. the customer service here is always so terrible and rude. i wouldn't bring any one to this location. they have horrible customer service. If i'm paying 35$ for a dinner that includes soup and salad I should get both my soup and my salad. The food here is already overpriced for what you get. I would just avoid this place at all costs.

First time visiting this restaurant. I ordered the steak and shrimp. I asked that the steak be cooked well done, the steak was tough and over cooked. Alex was my server and she did her job very well.

The employees are super friendly & extremely attentive!

There was A LOT of food. We ordered from table service instead of hibachi. My steak & shrimp were good, with my steak being cooked to perfect rare. The vegetables were not that good, the broccoli was overcooked & limp. The noodles were too sweet for my liking, & the fried rice was not seasoned. The miso soup & salad were great, like most Japanese restaurants. The chicken lettuce wraps were bland, super dry & did not have a good flavor.

All in all, it was decent. Maybe I went on an off day, I will try it again to see.

The waitress was great.. the cook not so good. Food was less that good and rushed. My daughter wanted her steak medium and he gave it to her raw.. like red and cold in the middle.. the food just felt very rushed. We were the only customers there so there wasn't any need to rush.. no flavor on the food at all . Crab lagoon was over cooked and super dry. The best part was the salad.. sad to say because I've been dying to try this place.. 4/10

I've been here before and usually the fresh food is pretty decent but I went here tonight for dine in (instead of sitting at one of the tables where they cook food in front of you) I got the lobster and the filet mignon and none of it was good. Fairly tasteless and the lobster was chewy and overcooked.

The old rice had been mixed with some new rice (I've eaten a lot of fried rice and I can tell). The godzilla roll sushi was mediocre at best.

Amazing servers and staff! Very friendly and respectful. They changed the way they cook the noodles so they taste different now. Not bad, just different. Fast and tasty!
