Great little sushi place!! Fortunately for me though I went with my fabulous Chinese lady friend who knows the menu by heart!! The sushi is the freshest I have ever had at a restaurant, almost like it came right off the dock and cut and rolled!! Quiet atmosphere when we went at dinner time, wait staff did a fabulous job of checking on our table and the kitchen fulfilled our every dining desire with food in presentation and taste!! Can't wait to return, and DEFINITELY will be taking my sweet little Chinese lady with me I hope!! IF YOU ENJOY GREAT SUSHI THIS IS THE PLACE!!

Had the shrimp tempura bento box, salad and money bag appetizer. Absolutely delicious and some of the freshest veggies. Everything was flavored and cooked to perfection. 10/10

We asked for gluten free sushi and the lady at the cashier assured us that was gluten free and they put 12 rolls with flour crunchy. I called back and they offered 10% discount for next time! Really? $5 off for intoxicated me?

Called to order my usual at this location and instead of the one I normally go too and he told me that they don’t allow the roll that I get on the lunch special. He told me that the other location is wrong and shouldn’t allow me to get it but I do 3 times a week he had the worst attitude and was super rude. Zero stars is not an option so they got one do not recommend at all. Go to the other store!

We loved everything. Our favorite sushi place and this time we were served by Jonathan, an excellent waiter, he suggested new things to try and we were very satisfied.

Maybe server was new? Not the same level of service we typically get. Food was great. Red bean ice Cream was a little off compared to every other time we have gotten it

The staff was fantastic and the food was just as good! Lovely quiet atmosphere, and I felt like I was at home eating some good sushi. They also have a really nice peach sake! The roll pictured was the "Sexy Mama" roll, and it was delicious ?

We ate here years ago on a visit to Birmingham and absolutely fell in love with this sushi place. We recently moved to Birmingham and we're excited to get takeout from sushi village having loved it so much in the past.It wasn't the same.Smaller portions, dried brittle crab meat, just not the same dining experience. The people are lovely but the food is not the same.

Bad management! No employee deserves to get yelled at in front of customers, especially the customers that can see what you are actually saying with a smart phone. Make us customers more uncomfortable, by yelling at your employees by not knowing the difference between the kind of fish!! Teach!!!Be careful what you experience, the employees don’t ever deserve to be yelled at!!

Great establishment! If you are a fan of fried rolls, come here, you won’t regret it! We ordered 3 servings of rolls and soup, the bill came out to $35. All the food was delicious, I'm now a fan of this place!

We ordered the hibachi chicken with egg noodles. There were about 5 small slices of chicken and no vegetables. We got udon noodles rather than egg noodles, as ordered. Very disappointed for the price.
