I CRIED CRODE AND CREW A BIT BECAUSE THE FOOD REMIND ME OF AN INDIAN FRIEND I HAD WHEN I WAS AT MY LOWEST AND BROKEST AND SHE KEPT COOKING ME DELICIOUS DISHES AND SNACKS FOR ME(she used my smoothie blender for spices sometimes I was a bit annoyed at first but then I realized. It took my smoothies to the next level)I WAS BARELY EATING AND ALMOST STARTED TO DEVELOP EATING DISORDER AND TAJ'S BUFFET REMINDS ME OF HER FOOD SO MUCH ???????????????????? ok I calmed down if I could give u like 55 stars I would have. Luv u guys absolutely coming back to try other stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Heart full. Belly full. ?Vegetarian options: More than half of the buffet is vegetarian!!!!!!!!
This was our first time trying Indian food and it was incredible. WOW. The service was incredible and was something I have never experienced in a restaurant before. The service definitely sets it apart from all of the other. Such a hospitable and lovely atmosphere and of course the food was amazing!

Food is great, every time we have gone, everything was so good! My favorite is the Baingan Bharta and lamb Rogan Josh! Their naan is perfectly cooked and their new location is so much nicer and larger! Wish they would open one in Huntsville!

The food is so tasty. It's new for me; I am not that familiar with Indian food but it is so good. I wish I had tried this sooner. We had the lunch buffet twice now and I highly recommend it. Can't wait to go back!

I recently have been wanting to try new places in Birmingham. So, me and my roommates went to this place a week ago and really enjoyed the visit. Me and my roommates tried the Chicken Tikka and it was amazing. Not only was the chicken really tender and juicy, but the beans and sides were also amazing. The staff was also great as well, they recommended some great options on the menu and also the item that I ate there. Another thing I enjoyed about this place was the presentation of the food. It was a great experience as a whole, and I will definitely be back. I didn't ask about the COVID-19 restrictions, but they seem to be like a lot of places I go to that give people the chance to wear the mask or not.
I came here with a group of friends and it was our first time. We waited for 25 minutes for our server to get to us until we realized people were just getting up and grabbing food. It was a very confusing experience with no one giving us any instructions. No "welcome, have you been here before" or anything like that. I thought we were forgotten so I went up to get a menu and we ended up ordering a la carte. Eventually I had to ask them how it works here and they didn't understand so I had to explain if it was buffet style and if our table just order a la carte...a very awkward and unwanted experience. For customer service, I give them a 2 out of 5. As far as the food, I've had real good and authentic Indian food as I just moved from Chicago, but to be fair as I can be, it was okay. At least for the butter chicken it was okay. The chicken was not tender, it was rubbery and hard and the flavoring was not there--I couldn't even taste the butter, I could only taste the spices and the rice was hard. I'm not sure any of us will go back, I'm sure Birmingham has got to have better options. I'll be sad if this place is the best that Birmingham has for Indian food...

Having vegetarian dinner here. We started with vegetarian sampler and Gobi pakora. I couldn’t find one item which tasted good, it even Samosa. The masalas tastes horrible and they are just made spicy with just chilli without any real flavor. I don’t really understand the crowd here or other good reviews. Maybe it’s just the vegetarian dishes that are like this.Whatever the service and ambience was really good.For the main we ordered- Malai Kofta - which was okay- Butter Naan - The bread was good but didn’t have any taste as it was missing salt or seasoning.- Gulab Jamun - wasn’t good either. But was edible.We informed them about the appetizer and they did charge us for that. They were very listening and good service wise.Vegetarian options: Not good

Absolutely a great meal and one of the most friendly and attentive staffs we have ever had. Top notch! Dinner was amazing also! Started with vegetable Pakora, very nice. My wife had the vegetarian Navrattan Korma. She loved it. I had the Chicken Tikka Masala. Full of flavor with a slight residual kick. Great dish. We ended the meal with Gulab Jamun, very sweet but good. Overall a wonderful dinner before the symphony. They will see us again.

WORST EXPERIENCE!!!! I was there today for dinner. I ordered chicken biryani which was not like Briyani at all. It was wired taste, closed to fry rice but NOT BIRYANI at all . Raita was bitter. When I was trying to eat, (I think the owner) came and ask about food. I honestly share experience with her so, she offer me chicken tika masala I said ok. I returned biryani with her . I think she told my experience to kitchen staff and ordered them to make chicken tika masala for me. Because of that, kitchen staff should be mad with me so, they send chicken tika masala more Worst than biryani . There was no salt on CTM and not any taste. I only eat rice and left everything on table. Owner need fire the guy who cook that worst food for me . I don’t have any complaints about service. They were nice to me however food was awful. Please take action to your kitchen staff and hire some good one. I will never come back until you guys bring change on food . And I DON’T RECOMMEND ANYONE to this restaurant. It is just waste of money. I would give ZERO STAR if I could. I've been hundreds of Indian restaurants & I never had experience like this .

Awesome Ambiance, Absolutely Delicious Authentic Indian Food . Great Service with Smile . Our Food was perfectly cooked to our Request. Everything came to our table as we love , starting with piping hot Mix platters then followed with Lamb saag and one of the best Butter Chicken along with Chilli Garlic Naan , Lacha Paratha and Onion Salad . Oh not to forget the Best Desert kulfi and Gulab Jamun .
