This was a nice restaurant. It appeared to be a black business. Very nice decorum. It had R&B music in the background playing softly, with several large screen tvs up on the wall. Playing sports, news, and music videos to your liking. The food here was out of the world. Everything was seasoned well, and the portion size was enough for two people. There weren't a lot of service workers but they were very nice and helpful. I can't wait to return.

I was a little skeptical walking into the place because it looked very plain, and the pieces of paper taped to the plexiglass barrier look a little trashy. We were sat down by a hostess who didn't seem to care to be there, but that was the end of the poor experience. I cannot for the life of me remember our waitresses name, but she was a delight. My son and I both ordered a boil with the house special seasoning. The seasoning wasn't your typical zatarans boil seasoning either. This was the most delicious, house-made boil seasoning I think we've ever had. It was $90 for the two of us to eat, which is a shame because he's been asking to go again almost every day now.

Visited this location for a birthday dinner. While we love seafood, there was a big discrepancy regarding how the sausage come in the bags. Apparently, you don't get many at all (at this location). I believe we were told that only about 2-4 small pieces of sausage come in the bags compared to other locations, you get more for your money. I chose this location because it's typically never as busy as the Roebuck location and much quieter (don't really prefer the loud noise personally but to each their very own!).
So if you like seafood do not go here. Food was very bland steamed in a bag with lot s of butter and no flavoring the shrimp was frozen and overcooked crab was overcooked. The only reason I give this two stars is the wait staff was very nice and attentive. I'm not the person that usually put out bad reviews but this one was the one I had to call out. Again the wait staff were great.

Food always good, consistent. Not great atmosphere but do play good music. They seem to be understaffed but who is there is always nice and helpful. Great prices for good seafood, get a lot for your money, can get everything want for $25-$50 and much more than would get anywhere else. The number on google is wrong for to go the last digit is a 1

Literally mine and my husband’s favorite restaurant. The atmosphere is amazing. The black lady’s that work there are amazing and they make you feel so welcome! The liquor is so damn good. The food is to die for. We eat here once a week and spend well over $100 but it’s so worth it. We LOVE the $25 seafood bag. We’ve been here many times and the food is always on point everytime. So fresh and yummy! 10000/10. Shout out to the cooks. They make amazing food!

Not going to lie, that joint was ard. The flavor was wildly lacking in the seafood boils and they gave me whiting (which actually tasted fine, well seasoned, good texture and etc. just not catfish) on my catfish order. Extremely disappointing which is wild because Birmingham literally has some of the best food in the south. Won’t make the mistake of going back.

Me and my family went there yesterday to eat we order a meal with sausage corn patatto egg and crabs and shrimp but when they brong our food out but instead they gave us crab,shrimp,crab and they said that came with and she said we couldn’t get any more
