I got the number 1 it came with sausages boil eggs(2) corn(1) 1/2shrimp 1/2 crab legs it was more like a sausage bag it was like a 100 pieces of sausages the shrimp didn’t taste too good and the crab seemed under weight it was hardly any meat and I noticed that a few of my legs had dark spots I’m not sure if that meant it was old but the quality of food was the the worst I had from a seafood place my stomach is still upset we went around 5pm it’s 5am and my stomach it’s still upset the tea taste old I feel like we were served anything I think I will funds a better location this location served us food like we wouldn’t notice quality food please don’t eat HERE I’m thinking of calling the health department this don’t sit well with me the area is mostly where African American would go and it seems they are serving and cooking giving us anything as a matter of fact I will report this location because the food taste weird and old

Ordered a pound of shrimp, a pound of crab legs and a pound of scallops and what I received was not even half of that. I spent $100+ on 6 scallops when there were supposed to be 20-24, 10 shrimp (if that), and a cluster or 2 of crab legs. This place is a RIP OFF!! Don’t waste your money here, they overcharge and now I see why it was empty when I picked up my order. Visiting from Texas and this was a complete disappointment. Will not return even if they PAID ME!!

I would expect a seafood restaurant to know how to cook catfish and shrimp much less French Fries. The food that my child and I ordered was all fried, easy stuff right, my little one got the shrimp basket I got the catfish basket. I had to use literally half of the napkins out of your full napkin dispenser to try to make our food somewhat edible. It was soaked in fry oil that covered the bottom of the basket used to serve the food in
The food when we picked it up would just start dripping oil. I had 2 bites of a piece of catfish and all you could taste was bread and fry oil. Super thick breading. My little one spat out the 1st bite of shrimp and said yuck, nasty I had hoped the server would question why we didn't eat the food. They did ask if everything was alright our response wasn't a positive response and the server walked off without concern. By the end of our visit my dinner consisted of 2 bites of overbreaded oil saturated catfish. And 1overbreaded oil saturated shrimp and a couple of limp soggy sweet potato fries and a half a glass of decent sweet tea. No offer to remove or comp any of the inedible/uneaten food This was our 1st time ever eating here or any off your locations and the last penny I'll spend here. My Order number 398 dinning room 2 table C6 with 3 guests $65.62 total

Please read …On June 15th 2024, Me and my mother decided to visit JUICY CRAB IN IRONDALE BIRMINGHAM ALABAMA.We came in got seated proceeded to order.We ordered drinks , hush puppies and then our normal food which was a seafood boiled bag.We both got the sauces added in them as well.We received our food and there was no seasoning hardly in the food we noticed before WE EVEN TOUCHED OR ATE THE FOOD.We told a server that it was very liquid and water like.The corn, eggs and more was naked basically.She explained to us that they can change the sauce to the all sauce combined BUT with extra chargers .After we mentioned we never ate a single thing out the bag.So we proceed to get told that they can change the sauce but we can’t get any refund.After my mom told them they can ring up the 2 drinks and hush puppies that we DID EAT.BUT NOT THE FOOD.They still tried to argue up and down the food is already in the system.As we spoke to the manager , she confronted us very wrong and she said that that’s how the food supposed to be and nobody ever complained (Which is several bad reviews under this ) she always said she wanted to see our bag and seemed to believe we didn’t Tell the truth about eating the seafood bag ( she explained that she can’t do a refund ) we asked her why after we didn’t eat the food so then she finally decided to say to give us seasoning on the side as my mom didn’t want and she claimed “You just wasted our food and we cannot serve y’all ever again” I recorded as video.That was very rude and unprofessional.We will not be returning and hope we can move forward with cooperate for this situation.I hope this helps someone wishing to visit JUICY CRAB, My opinion will be save your money and time and proceed to another place .WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.Thank You.

This was the best seafood I’ve had in a long time. I was just passing through Birmingham. By the time I made it to my state 300 miles away it was still good onto the next day when I reheated my leftovers. And the sausages were actually spicy ??

Great service from front desk and food was soo good and fresh and hot. I came in right before they closed. Was very friendly. I got crab boil with shrimp, potatoes, sausage and corn. Will be back! So yummy !!
Worst seafood place, I ordered 1/2 pound of shrimp and only got 10 shrimp and was not offered anymore after I told the waitress the problem she asked if I wanted to PAY for more . I’m definitely not going back!

I am sitting in the restaurant typing this review as I prepare to leave for what may be the last time. I have been coming here since they opened, but they have fallen off tremendously. I love a good seafood boil, and because of the price point, I expect to enjoy it every time. Unfortunately, I have not been able to enjoy my food the last few times I've come. I always get crab with either crawfish or shrimp. Today, I got all three because they are in the Tuesday special. Sadly, the potatoes (which I rarely eat) and shrimp were the best parts, and that was still not as good as I would have wanted. The crab legs were lukewarm and tasted like they had been heated up more than once. The shells were too brittle to get a good pull and the meat crumbled. They also didn't taste like anything. That usually wouldn't be a problem, but this particular bag hardly had any seasoned sauce at the bottom for me to dip my food in. I asked about it and the server said that was normal and it would be $3 to get more juice, even though it was way less than I'm used to. There wasn't enough to cover the nottom of the bag. Instead, I was given bland, cold, butter.The crawfish was just as overcooked as the crab, but it at least had some flavor and was hot.I wanted to see this location succeed, but I cannot, in good conscience, continue recommending this establishment to people because they seem to have placed profits too far above the people's experience. They don't care if you enjoy your food, they just want their money. Not gonna work in Birmingham.
