Places for lunch in the old business district are rare. This food court was about a half mile walk from the Civil Rights Institute on streets that were empty of pedestrians midday midweek. The various kiosks include tacos, pho, burgers and sandwiches. There are tables in a bare plaza and also indoors.
We visited this renovated food hall on our way out of Birmingham. The space itself is really cool and features some great food options. I had the poke and a bubble tea, which were both delicious. There is seating inside the hall and in the attractive patio space outside. Fun spot for a quick lunch!
We were so happy to find this Food Court, which looks like it was once a big Department Store in it's past and then converted into a set of mini Food Counters and a big Grand Bar to buy Alcoholic Beverages and Drinks and socialize in the middle of the room. They get a lot of people in there to eat and drink and enjoy the place. The food is good, but the prices are kind of high for what you get.
