Random walk in. We were in the area and thought it looked like a nice place. We ended up having some excellent fried and dry-rub coated fried chicken meal and an excellent cheesecake/sweet potato pie dessert. We've added this to our list and will definitely come back when we are in town again. I believe his name was Ian who provided excellent help and suggestions.

We sampled The Preservery at the Harvest Brunch and their blue corn grits with blackened shrimp was amazing! The grits were flavorful and hearty, had pickled okra and grilled veggies, and the gulf shrimp was blackened to perfection. The staff was friendly and inviting. Hope they continue to grow and expand to a full fledged restaurant!

This place is currently in the Pizitz Food Hall Reveal Kitchen. The Reveal Kitchen is a restaurant accelerator space for up and coming restaurateurs as they develop their business model. I'm excited to see what's next for The Preservery! The day I went, what caught my eye, was the caesar peach salad. Being an Alabama girl, I love Chilton County peaches.
