My wife and I both really enjoy boba tea so we were excited to try ThirsTea on a recent trip to BHM. Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience. First, we waited a while before anybody took notice of us. We were then surprised to find out that only large-size drinks are offered (we both wanted a medium). We were also put off by the fact that drinks are prepared in the back, behind a curtain. Finally, both our drinks were extremely disappointing. I had an orange fruit tea (no boba, regular sweetness level); my wife had a milk tea with boba (half-sweet). Both drinks had an odd and off-putting, completely artificial taste, to the point that my wife left hers on the counter after two sips, and I threw mine away soon after I left. It is not an exaggeration to say that this was the worst milk tea either of us had ever tasted.

I go here all the time and never once have the fruit teas or milk teas been out of the regular. The staff does such a great job despite being only a couple of them and being young.

Excellent tea! The lychee tea with lychee jelly is delicious ? ? We enjoyed playing a game of Jenga while we waited for the drinks. The bathroom was sparkly clean and so was the cafe' area. We also loved the cute little nook with neon lights for taking pics ? super cute and fun!

Kid-friendliness: Lots of games to choose from for a family game session. Plus lots of packaged Asian snacks for kiddos who like trying new things.

NEVER HAVE BOBO LATELY! So very disappointing.

They gave me a lot of boba witch I was so happy but it had strawberry flakes in it witch I didn’t like

The fruit tea with popping Bobo is really good. These drinks are just REALLY expensive. One regular size is more than a venti drink at Starbucks which is also very high. That's really my only complaint they're overpriced. $7 for a regular $4-5 would be reasonable.

I love this place the staff are always friendly, the seating area is always clean (indoor and outdoor tables available) and there are a variety of drinks. Its awesome how customizable your drink can be, my favorite is the lychee tea with peach popping boba. By far the best boba place in the area. There is some food and little things like stickers and cups for sale as well. I really enjoy the reuseable cup I got there.

Another great visit to Thirstea on 280! The family agrees that it's the best boba in town! Abigail was in and helped us choose some new flavors and ,for me personally, my new favorite drink! Thirstea is the top place to go with my girlfriend. The place is pretty much another home for us. Staff is always an A+. Abigal is great and always treats us well and makes us feel welcomed. The smoothies are amazing, especially my personal favorite, Watermelon Peach Tea.
