“If the place doesn’t have a plastic container with a faded lid and a tiny little spoon, containing the house chili oil, or the squeeze bottle with the top cut off just enough to make you work for the chili garlic paste….. “I was hesitant to try pho from a place with a generic name like Pho Sizzle, but I’m so glad I went! They have the best pho ga I’ve ever had—definitely the best I’ve tried in Birmingham! I only took one star off because the service was poor at the take out counter. I’m sure some basic training could help.
Vegetarian options: They have plenty of tofu/vegetarian options for pho, curry, and other rice dishes. I’d highly recommend this restaurant to vegetarians!
Kid-friendliness: I was impressed to see actual authentic dishes such as pho bo vien, com ga xao on the kids’ menu!“

“This place is GREAT! It took a little longer that expected to get my food, but the lady was very nice and thanked me for waiting. They were a little busy. My food was so good I got beef and broccoli. They give you a large portion which I got to split into two meals. The crab angles are amazing. I will definitely be going back.“
