Took a special friend for her first time here and she loved the experience. Natashia was our server and she did a fantastic job, I had the new menu item of grilled meatloaf with mashed potatoes and green string beans, everything was superb and she had the crab cake dinner with french fries and coleslaw which was her choice and she loved the crab cakes. Kudos to Natashia for making our evening worthy for enjoyment!!
Visited for the first time tonight, had a wonderful time. Our server, Joseph, made the experience great. The pimento cheese burger was amazing, the lemon drop is a must have. Joseph recommended the butter cake (pictured below) which was rich and delicious. Will be coming back soon!
This was our first time eating at Village Tavern. We made a dinner reservation and we were promptly seated when we arrived. I do appreciate restaurants that take reservations, so kudos to Village Tavern. Our server, Sierra, was good. The food, however, was just very average in my opinion. Shrimp and Grits 6/10. Blackened Chicken Alfredo 7/10. Cobb Salad 7/10. I would give the total experience 3.5 stars. I am not sure if we would return?
