This is a welcome relief to some of the stuffy bars around Mountain Brook. Woody’s brings an awesome casual feel with a ton of televisions for sports. The food is great and the staff is even better. Don’t miss this gem!
Tonight was our second time eating at Woody's in a week, our first visit being this past weekend. We are so impressed and excited to have a new favorite, easy place for lunch and dinner in Mountain Brook Village. The staff is professional and super friendly and the service is attentive and right on point for timing - not too fast, not too slow. I love this place. I went in and I saw this scrawny guy Woody and I was thinking, man there’s no way this guy could cook a good cheeseburger. I was wrong. And he has cold beer as well. And shade on the back patio. I will be back.

Woody’s Food + Bar is a new spot in Mountain Brook. It brings an awesome casual feel with a ton of televisions for sports. The updates to the space inside and out have made it more inviting and more comfortable than ever. There are extra TVs for game days. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The outdoor patio is cozy and relaxing. The staff is professional, super friendly, attentive, and right on point for timing. The food is great with an updated and creative menu. It is delicious upscale bar food without the grease. There is something for everyone on the menu. The drinks are amazing and there is cold beer. The queso came in a small Styrofoam cup, which is not a favorite option of material to eat from. The presentation seemed cheap considering the area and the clientele. It is a small spot but could be the neighborhood local hang out. The cheeseburger is good.
