The burgers are cooked to order so they take a little time but is worth the wait. I had the stuffed baked potato and it was delicious. Potato cooked well and it was STUFFED. I really liked the white sauce. You could really taste the vinegar. (I like vinegar) the turnip greens have garlic in them. I like lots of garlic but I know some people don't. I'd highly recommend this hidden gem.

Outstanding dinner. We unknowingly parked close to the smoker and we smeledl the goodness before we got out of the car. My wife had a wrap and I ate the Beef Brisket Plate. The meat was tender and no fat included in the mix! The cheese grits were top notch and the baked beans were excellent. I wish we had a independent home town restaurant like this in Pell City. if you are ever passing through on U.S. 231, do yourself a favor and stop in.

They told me my burgers were cooked fresh, so there would be a 10-15 minute wait. I was ok with this. 25 minutes passed and my meal still wasn't ready. I was picking up the order for 2 teachers at Cleveland. They gave me the order at 29 minutes. As I walked back into school the office told me I was given the wrong order. They did deliver the correct order and apologized.
Ordered and paid for food then came and said they were out changed our order then came and told us they were out of the second order. Refunded our money but made us pay for drinks which was pretty crappy. The worst experience I’ve ever had.
