The burgers are cooked to order so they take a little time but is worth the wait. I had the stuffed baked potato and it was delicious. Potato cooked well and it was STUFFED. I really liked the white sauce. You could really taste the vinegar. (I like vinegar) the turnip greens have garlic in them. I like lots of garlic but I know some people don't. I'd highly recommend this hidden gem.
I love this place! The food is amazing, it’s clean, and the people who work there are very friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant, and it’s worth the road trip if you do not live close by. We drive all the way from Trussville just to eat there!

Outstanding dinner. We unknowingly parked close to the smoker and we smeledl the goodness before we got out of the car. My wife had a wrap and I ate the Beef Brisket Plate. The meat was tender and no fat included in the mix! The cheese grits were top notch and the baked beans were excellent. I wish we had a independent home town restaurant like this in Pell City. if you are ever passing through on U.S. 231, do yourself a favor and stop in.
