First time..that $5 Pina colada hit the spot😋& their portion sizes sure don't disappoint 😳😁well fed round here! The side salad was really good, if you like fried Okra🤌delicious, matter of fact-everything we had fried, the pickles were so good, the fish 😋yummy..the Hush Puppies! We have to come back🥰 Hope to see y'all again soon, the staff were all very nice, Claire was a delight 😊
The fried shrimp were large and perfectly fried. Excellent. I would order them again in a minute.The Gumbo on the other hand was a tremendous dissappointment. While it apparently had a dark roux base, the consistency was more of a gumbo flavored soup. It was thin, watery and largely tasteless. It only included 2 small shrip and little rice or okra. Is was almost like the kitchen was running out and they watered down what they had on hand to make it go farther. It was not worth...
This restaurant was so good that we ate there 3 times during our trip to Alabama! Our server, Tara, was excellent. She was friendly, personable, and very knowledgeable about the menu items. I would definitely recommend this establishment to anyone who loves seafood. We appreciated the owner stopping by our table to check on us as well. Great food and service.
