I love this place, I drive ~30-40 minutes just to eat there. Portion size is good, service is great, but the food there is amazing. I absolutely love their general Tso's chicken, perfectly crispy chicken with a smooth very tasty sauce. Their fried rice is different but in a great way, the appetizer sauce with fried wonton strips is perfect and I havent seen replicated. Golden City is an excellent restaurant. It’s some of the best Asian food you can get in the entirety of Shelby County. The restaurant was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The Staff were very kind and they also serve some kind of chips on the house.
The food is amazing too. I tried the dancing dragon sushi roll and was very impressed. It was delicious, maybe even the best I’ve had local.

The service was fast. The food was great! Im always on the hunt for good hot and sour soup and this place does it right! Not all Chinese places have Thai tea but this place does. I had the honey chicken lunch combo (entree, soup, rice and egg roll) with a Thai tea and it was $15. The portion size was good too. Next time Im in Columbiana I will have to try the sushi.
