My family and I went tonight before our son’s football game. Everything was way over cooked and the oysters were the size of a pinky nail and burnt to a crisp the ones that actually had oysters in the batter. They did replace it with the shrimp basket. The shrimp were also over cooked and so rubbery that when my wife FINALLY got her meal we had to get it to go and she attempted to eat in the car. But, only the fries again were decent.
The price was just insult to injury. We came right at opening first to be seated and when we requested the shrimp because the 18.00 burnt oyster batter basically, no one made eye contact with us. Our waitress did apologize and seemed sweet. Apparently the cook always over cooks shrimp and “oysters” according to our waitress.
The fry’s were eatable. We can say they were good and didn’t taste like old cooking grease.

It's just a bar with a small selection of seafood, the fried fish was good and so was the shrimp (de-veined too) wasn't bad, wasn't out of this world either. The bartender who took our order was friendly and very talkative, he cleaned a table for us and sat us down. It didn't take too terribly long for the food to get brought to us.
I would go back again someday if I wanted seafood, but didn't want to drive to Birmingham. The price was decent.

Passing through-thought I would try it. Was greeted with fast friendly service. Menu prices were very reasonable but I wanted raw oysters and so paid market price. Would eat there again.

Food was cold, and that bartender is ridiculously loud and obnoxious, came in with our daughter and between his laughing fits, the dropping of the FBombs was ridiculous

We always love the food here. It was great again last night. The kitchen seemed to be basically out of order, though, as far as speed and getting orders right and running out of items and such. Every place has a bad night, so we will give them some grace. We like the people and the food and look forward to another visit.
Don’t waste your time or money here. Service was lousy. Nothing to tell you if it’s a seat yourself place or wait to be seated. Tables left dirty everywhere. Server failed to mention they were out of crab until we attempted to order it. Long story short, service was horrible for what the “crowd” was at the time and the food… it was horrible, $72 for two people and I left unsatisfied.

This is a bar with food. It’ll be loud, the place is small, the food comes out slow and is over cooked. If they used plates instead of baskets. Made some homemade tartar, kept a better eye on the grill/ fryer and stirred the cocktail before bringing it to the table. This place could be good.

We were there for over an hour. We never got the food, but our waitress came over so often to tell us it was coming out soon; then finally at 9:20, she came to tell us the ticket have fallen behind the counter. They didn’t offer to bring it out. They just watch us walk out. Never again!

Pre-show eats. 1 server and bartender but she hustled! Wish they had a better draft menu, nice taps but not my preference. Funky "dive" maybe...but very popular in tiny Columbiana!
