“I bought the Merry Meal Deal: 8-piece chicken nuggets, a cheeseburger, fries, and a drink. It's $6.99 on the menu. I paid $11.17, because I ordered a large drink and large fry. I also got gravy for my chicken, which I didn't realize was an additional cost.

The worker, who took my orders, was very kind and had great customer service skills.

“I ordered a to go order for my mother who is on hospice. I got home with the order and found out that I had only been given half the order, which was all fried. I wasn't very happy that I had to go back and get what I ordered for my mother, which was a bowl of gumbo. I called and let them know they hadn't given me what I wanted, and they started saying that I hadn't ordered it, to which I responded that was the first thing I ordered. So I went back and got the gumbo and told them that they hadn't given me the bread pudding, either. The guy went to the kitchen to get it, but it took 15 minutes for him to bring it to me, and he had apparently waited for someone else's order before bringing my bread pudding. I am very, very disappointed in the service I received at this location and may never return. Yes, I am a local who has been there more times than I can remember. For you to have been in business for so many years, I expected much better service. This is not how you stay in business.”

“The Waffle House in Satsuma is by far the best one I've ever been in. I've been in Waffle Houses all over the state and the atmosphere, the service, the friendliness is always the same regardless of who's working. The food is cooked amazingly fast and accurate but most importantly amazing as you expect it to be at Waffle House. Tonight (2/10/25), Gery was our server and he was awesome! He was so friendly, attentive and deserves a raise along with everyone in there. Keep it up y'all bc you're regulars look forward to coming in to having a little fun while we enjoy a great meal! Maybe it's not required, but I don't think we should be asked. The cashier is right there and knows whether we tip and how much. It is awkward to put no tip.

I always tip servers at least 15%. They are going back and forth to our table, checking that the food is good, if we need anything, etc.”

“My family and I love our Godfather's Pizza! The Taco pizza and the Chesse burger pizza are our absolute favorites! I've never had a bad experience at any location but tonight I made an order and had to return one of the pizzas because it wasn't quite cooked all the way which was no big deal (we all make mistakes) The manager was really awesome and gave us a refund and another pizza..I couldn't ask for better! Love that place 😁”

“They have truly mastered the art of frying here. Perfect batter, nothing felt too heavy. Golden brown and crisp, and just enough seasoning. The catfish and shrimp were both good, the fried okra needed just a little salt but glad it wasnt over salted. The fried pickles are done right, just simple batter and a good dill chip. They didnt taste over seasoned or salty like most places. Will def come back to try some steamed items as well.”
