I was in town with some friends for 2nd Friday and instead of eating at one of the food trucks, my friend suggested going to The National. We stopped to look at the menu board out on the sidewalk and saw blackened grouper and we were sold. We were greeted by the waitress and we took a table by the front window. I had the grouper which was melt in your mouth delicious along with green beans and brussels sprouts. Washed it all down with a Mich Ultra. The waitress was very friendly...
Surprise, it's gourmet. I saw a lot of amazing foods coming out. I was holding out for the snakebite pasta and cowboy candy jalapeños. Super good 👌 Amazing would be a better word, but still not quite grand enough.
This place produces some incredible food. I hear they have a new menu coming out. I couldn't imagine what else they are adding. You should go now and try some things and then go again after the menu upgrade to find even more amazing dishes they...

My better half and her honey-do-list partner (me) found this place and are extremely happy that we did. 👍
She enjoyed the Pecorino Alfredo Pasta, and I really loved the Shrimp, Smoked Sausage and Grits. We loved speaking with Chef Kenny. What a great guy! And, Morgan our Waitress was superb and very caring. If You are looking for a great place to eat and relax, I highly recommend You visit The National. Gary & Janice.
