This place fits perfectly in this classic small beach town in the best of ways. Not the biggest venue, but cozy, and the outdoor seating is great.
Food and service were excellent. We enjoyed it very much and plan to return soon!
Bonus for dog-lovers: the outdoor seating is very dog-friendly! They even offer pup cups!

Got the maple bacon biscuits with egg and ham. The biscuit was burnt and the service was a bit slow. The atmosphere is very clean and beachy.

Everything was from Sam’s Club… this place is trying to fool you with a fancy facade, but they serve the food in paper plates and bowls. All their products were from Sam’s Club, starting from the shrimp and celery salad, the chowder and the flatbread. Our server was nice but overly enthusiastic and confused. Overly expensive lame drinks. Skip it, it’s not what it says it is.

We frequent the Carriage almost weekly. It is by far the best restaurant on Dauphin Island! The food is Amazing! Service is fantastic! It just doesn’t get any better! Also, the wine shop has an incredible selection and the wine tastings are always a treat!!

Was looking for a place to eat on the island that offered views and something other than pizza, was not disappointed with The Carriage House! Great food and menu, well poured drinks, and views of both sides of the island. This is our new favorite place to eat when we visit and can’t wait to come back!

Don’t let the road sign fool you.
There is a relaxing place to sit outside near the bar. Every food item we ordered was delicious. The crab cakes and muffuletta flatbread are good, also the orzo salad is especially refreshing. The staff is very friendly. Though we love our seafood, this was a nice break from all the fried fish this week. Will be back and would definitely recommend! I wish we’d stopped in here sooner.

This is one our favorite places to relax and have a great meal. Love the lobster bisque and Adult grilled cheese. Their shrimp cocktail and pimento cheese is so delicious.

Had a wonderful experience! Our waitress was as the sweetest, brought us fruit for our 8m/o right as we sat down which I found super sweet. Atmosphere was clean and bright drinks were great, food was nearly perfect. Crab cakes could have been fried a little longer but everything still tasted great. Stopped by the wine shop and picked out some beer and the ladies working were so lovely. 5/5 for hospitality!
